One of the "Gundam" frames that was produced and used in the Calamity War roughly 300 years ago, the Gundam Kimaris is able to achieve a high energy output because it possesses two Ahab Reactors. [1] Only a total of 72 Gundam frames were ever produced because it is difficult to run two Ahab Reactors in parallel operation. [1] The Kimaris is specialized for close combat. It uses a lance named 'Gungnir' as its main weapon, while also possessing a foldable combat knife and two launchers in the shoulder that fires disk-shaped weapons known as Slash Disks. [2] [3] In episode 15, McGillis dons a mask and a wig to obscure his appearance as he carries out his own plans; this is a homage to Char Aznable from the original Mobile Suit Gundam.

On April 5, 2023, this version of the Gundam Bael is one of the many Build Project suits to be re-released for the "GBM Appreciation Festival" event prior to the game's termination from service on June 5. The single-piece Burst Saber Blades inside the side armors can actually be separated into individual pieces (and their tabs cut off) for a working blade-deploying functionality. This modification has one downside: It can fall off from the armors if the holes are facing downwards. To minimize this issue, you can only separate the 2nd/middle blade while keeping the 1st and 3rd pieces unchanged, as the molded tabs keep them in place. Later on in space, Coral leads a team of Grazes to stop Tekkadan, but is killed during the operation by Mikazuki and his Barbatos. Gaelio then appears with his customized EB-05s Schwalbe Graze and engages Mikazuki. Gaelio is eventually joined by McGillis in his customized Schwalbe Graze. The two give Mikazuki a hard fight, and Gaelio soon manages to tie up Barbatos using the Schwalbe Graze's wired claw weapon. He asks Mikazuki to surrender, but Mikazuki refuses, saying " There's no reason to surrender." Upon hearing Mikazuki's voice, Gaelio recognises it as belonging to the boy he had met a few days before. Mikazuki manages to break free and escapes by throwing Barbatos' mace at Gaelio's machine. Gaelio and McGillis then continue tailing Tekkadan, hoping to stop them from reaching Earth. In the process, he appoints Ein Dalton as his subordinate. While the instruction manuals of the High Grade 1/144 and the No Grade 1/100 Gundam Bael model kits stated that the rare metals from which the Bael Swords are forged from are also used in mobile suit frame, this contradict other sources such as the Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mechanics & World 2 book, the Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Mechanical Works book, and the instruction manual of the Master Grade 1/100 Gundam Barbatos, which noted that mobile suit frame is made from high hardness rare alloy/extremely hard rare alloy. In Gundam Breaker Mobile, the Gungnir is seen being wielded by Nao Mochzuki's custom Gunpla, though the Kimaris has yet to appear in the game.Exterior removable.
