You can now very simply switch between each camera using the ATEM Extreme, and the feed will stream as normal but with the multi-camera In addition, this model has 4 chromakeys, 6 DVEs for picture-in-picture displays, 2 media players and a multiviewer with up to 16 views. Atem Mini Extreme ISO is a great switcher for the price. You definitely get your money’s worth. I am using it in a church environment and and I find it very impressive; especially being able to plug in any HDMI camera and get reliable results and the opportunity of being able to connect your mobile and share the internet takes Atem switchers to another level. The dual HDMI outputs are great for churches...allowing you to choose a different feed for the church display without affecting the program out and still keep the multi view out! I love the ability ability to record individual cameras for editing. ATEM Mini is perfect for educational videos! Setup is fast and easy, so you can travel to locations and record live multi camera video productions on a wide range of educational topics! Connect computers and cameras and use the ATEM Software Panel to load titles and perform video effects.

At this point, it’s worth pointing out that there are two versions of the ATEM Mini Extreme, the standard, which we’re looking at in this review and the ISO. While the ATEM model has been around for years in the broadcast industry it wasn’t that accessible to smaller or home productions due to size and cost. Once connected, the ATEM Mini Extreme enables you to switch between the cameras, add transitions and switch between audio. The whole process is streamlined and easy to follow.
