When priming over stained areas, first attempt to remove as much of the stain as possible by washing, sanding, scraping, etc. Zinsser Perma White Mould Resisting Paint, a water-based self-priming acrylic paint, is a speciality paint formulated to resist mould and mildew for up to years. It forms a finish that is unaffected by moisture that weakens ordinary paint films, causing blistering and peeling as well as unsightly mildew. Surfaces must be clean, sound and free of dirt, dust, grease, wax, wallcovering adhesive, soap film, loose paint or other surface contamination. PermaWhite® Interior Matt - Recommended for application in high-humidity areas where a durable, low sheen finish is desired such as finished basements and kitchens.

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times. Apply evenly and consistently, using a good quality synthetic bristle brush, microfibre roller, applicator pad or spray gun (Use tip size 0.017 at pressure 2000 - 2600 psi)

Finally apply 2 coats of Zinsser Perma-White Interior Satin. This is a great product for bathrooms and areas of high humidity. It can also be mixed to a wide range of colours.If the surface is not clean or has wax (candles burning) and plug in deodorizes, hairspray (bathrooms) bugspray/any sprays, dirt, oil/ grease( kitchens) and body oils from hands etc.. then paint will“fisheye” and Bubble..
