About this deal

Jake doesn't really want to sell his nanna's house but the situation calls for him to list it. But he didn't expect the new real estate agent to be so determined to sell the house. Bob Wall reached the end of the line. Still nothing. The girl was supposed to have been killed right on the sandy shore, near the old white schoolhouse, now covered by lurid yellow crime scene tape. Water Under the Bridge shows Lily is one of the best Aussie authors (I have read) when it comes to really nailing characterisation. I LOVE the sound of Chalk Hill as a community and, oh, the joy in that name Honeychurch! Inspired!

Elliott remained in the United States for the remainder of his life, commencing a literary career in 1963 with his autobiographical novel "Careful He Might Hear You", which won the Miles Franklin Award and was subsequently made into a film. He published ten novels in total, several of which dealt with issues from his own childhood and experiences in Australia before the War. Although he increasingly developed a following among Australian readers, Elliott remained uncomfortable with his country of birth, in no small part due to his homosexuality, which had marked him out for difference during his youth. He spent his final years in New York City, dying of cancer in 1991. i love that we got luca's pov because you know instantly that he cannot stop thinking about avery and he is definitely an obsessed boy AND HE FALLS FIRST! while avery hates him and thinks the worst of him lmao. it's definitely that one-sided rivalry where the fmc only thinks they have a rivalry ♡ and he's always thinking ways to be close to her and!!! i love their little bets and games THEY WERE SO CUTEEE luca navarro really is the MAN HE'S IT MY FRIENDS. This made me so excited for their next book! Avery and Luca are great characters and I can tell they meant a lot to the authors. Congrats Kels and Denise on your first novel - can’t wait to read the next! Don Barry has been involved in church leadership for over 40 years. For the last 20 years he and his wife Karen have been the senior leaders of Gateway Church in Hamilton, New Zealand. During this season they have watched as God has restored a church, broken and bruised by the sexual failure of leadership, into a thriving congregation of over 1200 people. Don is a gifted teacher whose ministry has been appreciated throughout New Zealand and in many other nations. Don and Karen have been married for 42 years and have two adult children and four precious grandchildren.

About the Author:

Under the Bridge is a prodigiously researched and carefully observed account of a senseless murder and its aftermath. Rebecca Godfrey brings a sympathetic imagination and a finely tuned ear for language to bear on a dark subject, with spectacular results." I found this to be an enjoyable, gentle book about moving on and finding your place in life and a community. I liked Ella and her unconventional relationship with Erik and his absolute support of her choices and Sam. And of course Jake...well, he was just a honey! There was a little bit of tension in the story but I didn’t find there was a huge angst moment, which I was appreciative of. I can only encourage everyone to read this. If you enjoy romance just a tiny bit - then give this novel a chance. I am convinced it will not disappoint. Because there is not a single disappointing aspect to say about this. At least not in my eyes. It’s just making you happy to read about these two and their amazing friends and colleagues and siblings. Luca wasn't appealing (??) to me. I didn't feel that "spark" at all just your typical guy really he could have been better tbh. The men holding the rope felt a sudden, sharp pull and thought together and silently, we found her. The young missing girl. She would be there, on the bottom of the Gorge.

A story of moving on, belonging, and opening hearts, Water Under the Bridge is a novel that I've been waiting to read for ages ... and it was absolutely worth the wait. I was excited to read this at first and it started strong. Something just missed the mark, unfortunately, because I couldn’t totally connect to the characters.

Overall such a good book, I have no doubt this will take booktok by storm. It does have some really sought after tropes, in addition to a nicely flushed out story with dynamic characters. pacing was WAY too fast. like you're telling me after one night of sleeping together you're already saying I love you the next day (not the next day but you know what I mean)😭??? make it make sense.

The Dive Unit were slightly cynical about the presence of the helicopter. The Coast Guard was not trained to deal with evidence, and besides, what could you really see when you were so far above? To really find anything, you had to dive down. I love the cover for Water Under The Bridge by Britney King. She designed it herself. It looks like it could be for a paranormal/supernatural novel, but this is so much better. We have not one, but two serial killers!!! And one is female!!! The is a love story like none I have ever read before.

Workplace romance, slowburn, rivarly, ocean conservation, HE FALLS FIRST(and he falls hard, it’s the sweetest thing ever!), spice.. with some added praise😏 & to top it all off, BANTER!

I really liked the fact that both the protagonists had their own POV’s and that had a good impact on the story. There were also some emotional parts which created a huge gap between the two. A loss of a child, some unspoken secrets and unforgiving mistakes tore them apart which led Kate to leave Jude and soon, surprise him with divorce papers.
