About this deal

When another Cyberse monster you control inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can Special Summon 1 Link Monster from your GY. The quality of world premiere cards from this year's mega-tins is a big improvement when compared with last years. The new support is all playable and does a lot for their respective archetypes. Though this alone won't make either top type tier, it’s at least a step in the right direction! If you control a Level 8 or higher Synchro Monster: Banish all monsters on the field, except the monster(s) with the highest Level, also the remaining face-up monsters on the field are unaffected by other card effects, except their own, until the end of this turn. If a DARK Dragon Synchro Monster is Synchro Summoned to your field while this card is in your GY: You can add this card to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Red Reign" once per turn.

Konami has begun to show off the set’s cards by letting specific content creators open a set they received. All European fans of Yu-Gi-Oh can enjoy Tin of Ancient Battles, while the release for North American fans will be on October 1. You can banish 1 FIRE Warrior monster from your hand or GY; Special Summon this card from your hand, then you can make this card's Level become the Level of that banished monster. You can banish this card from your GY; Special Summon this banished card during your second Standby Phase after this effect's activation, then you can Special Summon 1 of your FIRE Warrior monsters that is banished or in your GY. The 2021 Tin of Ancient Battles builds (literally!) on the foundation of the 2020 Tin of Lost Memories, featuring the middle section of the mysterious Pharaonic tablet discovered in Egypt! Special Summon 1 "Witchcrafter" monster from your hand, and if you do, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to the activation of your Spellcaster monster effects for the rest of this turn. During your End Phase, if you control a "Witchcrafter" monster, while this card is in your GY: You can add this card to your hand. You can only use 1 "Witchcrafter Unveiling" effect per turn, and only once that turn. When a monster effect is activated, while you control an "Adamancipator" Synchro Monster: Negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. The Tin of Ancient Battles set involves three new world premiere cards: The True Light, Magician Salvation, and Shatter the Darkness. True Light is a continuous trap similar to Eternal Soul. It’s a great utility card and arguably better than Eternal Soul sins it sets any spell and trap that lists Blue eyes. Magician Salvation is a field spell that gives you another way to access Eternal Soul. It has a lot of synergy within the archetype and is great for generating advantage. Shatter the Darkness is also a great continuous spell that supports both Dark Magician and Blue Eyes. It’s a great tool for making your monster stronger during battle and harder to deal with.
