Adam storms out then Adam and Juliette have yet another emotional scene in the corridor. Warner arrives on the scene, apparently having been released, he and Adam square up for a fight. Both Juliette and Kenji rush to break them up and Kenji is afflicted by Juliette’s touch even though she is not touching him. He passes out. Juliette thinks he is dead. How does Unravel Me end? I loved the relationship that got developed in this book. I loved how they were talking about the grief, because both of them felt the loss. The hero, was rarely jealous of his best friend, he was understanding of the heroin's love for him and i felt like he admired her for it. He helped her deal with her grief and her guilt in a mature way. At the same time he was jealous and possessive with other men flirting with her which was something that satisfied my toxic heart so much. I loved their banter, their tension and their chemistry.
The psychopath in question winks at me from where he’s standing, smiling like he couldn’t possibly be holding a gun to the head of our mutual friend. I manage to suppress a laugh. You read that right. Her name is Emmeline, and it used to be Warner’s job to torture her. Because Warner is a good guy (despite his own doubts), he confesses everything to Juliette the first chance he gets. And she kinda sorta breaks up with him. Nazeera has superpowers. Her relationship with dom was everything. The way their relationship went from hate to love was perfect. It was so adorable and heartwarming <33 AND OMG THE GRAYS ANATOMY PROPOSAL R U KIDDING ME. THIS WAS THE BEST PROPOSAL EVER. MY STANDARDS R SKY HIGH RN BECAUSE OF HIM. I really wanted to love them but i simply couldn't. there was so much and so little going on at the same time to the point it became a constant migraine to continue reading. i can't bring myself to give this one star bc ily hoda, so one star for you, one star for dom, and one honorary star for mentioning greys, merder forever 🤞🏼 It was so interesting to see how Juliette, a 17 year old, would handle all the power suddenly at her exposure, as she is the new head of Sector 45.

Also: Kenji is his usual wonderful, perfect self and my love for him continues to grow as the series progresses. Just wanted to throw that out there. A woman says to her “you’ve done beautifully.” It’s Juliette’s biological mother. She is with Juliette’s father. She tells her that they have come to take her home. Mum is the Supreme Commander of Oceania. You would say that.” He almost laughs. “But being kind does not come naturally to me, love. You’ll have to be patient with my progress.” As the books in the series progress, the amount of passages and lines that have been crossed out decreases. This is because Juliette slowly becomes more confident and certain about her thoughts. The same can be said of Find Me. It contains both Shadow Me and Reveal Me (also listed separately above), the two later novellas. Is Shatter Me Spicy?As for my thoughts on Juliette: she is wonderful and amazing and so strong and I am so proud of her for everything she has overcome and everything that she has achieved thus far and I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next. You are doing amazing sweetie, and I am rooting for you every step of the way. Haider Ibrahim, son of the Supreme Commander of Eurasia arrives. Against Castle’s advice, Juliette goes in alone to see him. I loved everything about this author's writing. It was beautiful and I could've read a book double in size to stay with Dominic and Sloane a little longer. Dominic is the definition of a swoonworthy hero. The depth of his love knows no bounds, which you will come to see. Sloane was a strong heroine, doing what was best for her, despite the guilt she felt related to her husband's death. It's ok to be happy again, and boy does she find that happiness with Dominic.
I did not think it would be easy to be a leader, exactly, but I do think I thought it would be easier than this:she was such a contradictory bitch. she was so mad at him when she heard that he's going to cali after his current job is done, i mean is that not convenient for u since u literally made him promise to a deadline to this boring arrangement? she made it a point to mention it every time they were together and the second she hears he's leaving, from someone else btw, she flips out and gets so mad at him.. get yourself together. you are 30 years old on this earth. This book is told in alternating view points, from the perspectives of Juliette and Warner. I really love that Tahereh decided to tell the story this way and give us glimpse into their thoughts and everything they were feeling, as they both had so much going on, internally and externally.
Juliette and Warner fought hard to take down the Reestablishment once and for all. Life in the aftermath isn’t easy, as they and their friends at the Sanctuary work with their limited resources to stabilize the world.
This book also features some of my favorite chapters/scenes from the Shatter Me series so far. The scenes I speak of all are scenes that include Warner/Juliette and Warner/Kenji. She can fly! She’s managed to keep her abilities a secret from her parents, but her powers put her firmly on Team Juliette, and she tells Juliette that the rest of the world leaders are planning on wiping out Sector 45. Juliette shaves her head. I’m still so far gone for this woman, captivated by her smile, devastated by the sway of her hips, shattered by the thought of living without her and willing to do anything to stop it from happening.'
