Unfortunately, the author didn’t reveal the Overlord Volume 17 release date. Instead, he teased that the wait could be long. As of this moment, the plot of Volume 18 is still unknown. It’s a long way before we actually see Volume 18, so at this moment, no one really knows what the plot is going to be about. We do know that it is going to be the final volume of the light novel series, so we assume that it is going to wrap up the story in one way or another.
