Levington Tomorite Concentrated Organic Tomato Food is recommended for feeding tomatoes and other flowering and fruiting plants growing under glass, out in the garden and in grobags or other patio containers. Seaweed extract contains several useful plant nutrients, including nitrogen, potassium, phosphate and magnesium. The extract works in harmony with Levington tomato feed to make more nutrients available to your plants. Add controlled-release feed before you plant by mixing it into the compost where you have cut holes, or add a liquid feed twice a week once the first fruits have formed. Before testing, we send four secret shoppers to buy all our grow bags in garden centres, DIY stores or online. They buy two of each, making a total of eight of each brand, to see if there is any variation in the quality of each bag.The Tomorite giant bags state that you should not cut any holes in the bags, only the ones you intend planting in. And plumping the bags. Also it says not to use any feed for 6 weeks as they are supposed to be enriched with seaweed fertiliser. I never feed until the first trusses have set.
