I have only had this a few days, but I am loving it. If you are just looking for a great electric tooth brush, ignore all the Ironman talk and geeking out I have done and focus on the fact this is one of the best toothbrushes on the market.

The controls are two button. One is on/off. The other is the mode select. The mode is remembered when you power the brush off. The box doesn’t just include the EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush you also get: 2 Plaque Brush Heads, the Powerbase (the Ironman ARC reactor) and wall adapter. The EVO IRM Sonic Toothbrush (IPX 7 Waterproof rating!) is also comfortable to hold and handle while brushing/massaging your gums and teeth. It’s a real added value with the items included in this EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush box.Sensitive – the speed and movement are gentler on the teeth and gums, but still effective in cleaning; The vibrations seemed to slow a bit when compared to other modes but felt like a massage for my gums. I really liked this mode.

Toothbrush Handle: Subtle lines and curves mimic the Iron Man suit. Inspired by the Arc Reactor, the power button lights up when activated and acts as an additional reminder to replace your brush head. After 90 days of use, the Arc Reactor Power Button will illuminate from a white to red light to remind you to replace your brush head. Really, the bottom line her is this is fantastic toothbrush. If you are a Marvel fan, this is just the pinnacle of fandom. Not only do you get a awesome toothbrush you also get a box that is a collectors item in itself. Bravo EVO. The motor: The IRM-1 handle features the latest levitating motor technology, allowing a 6mm stable swing to give you that full sweep motion dentists recommend when brushing your teeth. The arc reactor is neat too and lights up when charging. I also appreciate how EVO paid attention to every little detail when designing everything from the box to the toothbrush.

The Brush Head’s Bristles will tell turn from blue to white, telling you that you need to replace it. It takes about 90 days for that to happen. A paid subscription is offered to you for sending out new Brush Heads around the 90-day mark. One full charge on the powerbase (ARC Reactor) will give you two weeks of regular toothbrush activity. How do you know when to recharge the EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush? A red light will slowly appear just under the mode buttons toward the bottom of the handle. When the charging the toothbrush, the powerbase pulsates so you know it is charging. The powerbase shuts off when charging is complete.
