The API access is exactly what I was looking for, it will allow me to control the under-floor heating in my room much better than before. The product is let down by two very simple things that could have been so easily incorporated in the design and both relate to the hub powering. The hub cannot be powered through the ethernet cable, all other six appliances in my network are. Then to compound the issue they supply in the kit a short USB cable where unless you want the hub in the middle of your lounge you have to go out and buy a longer cable.
