If you’re looking for a quiet, low-profile vacuum with a small base that’s perfect for apartment living, then the eufy RoboVac G30 Verge is a great place to start. This robot vacuum is remarkably quiet, and fits under every piece of raised furniture I own. However, I recommend keeping in mind that the G30 is on the weaker side for a robot vacuum, and requires a watchful eye to make sure its accessories stay on during use. In case of a full house schedule, does it go around cleaning the whole house first, and then start the mopping function ? Or does it clean and then mop one room simultaneously first, then move to clean and mop the next room? (similar to the MI robovac) The models with MAX in naming mean these are the most powerful machines in the Series. Normally they might or might not have Wi-Fi and all the following features but always deliver 2,000 Pa of suction and are suitable for medium-pile carpets. The C model line includes the robot vacuums with random navigation. Those models look alike underneath and have about the same specifications. The difference between those eufy robots is WiFi connectivity which also makes a robot able to integrate with Alexa/Google Home. The robot is equipped with a water tank and mopping pad and is also suitable for bare flooring. Inside the dustbin, a filter can be washed with water and is meant to live longer.

If you don’t care about the magnetic tape and don’t have carpets or already have a traditional vacuum that would be the main cleaner get the eufy RoboVac 15C. Only the eufy G10 Hybrid and L70 Hybrid come with mopping attachments. The G10 was not designed for carpets or big homes. The mopping feature is nice to have but not necessary.Final question, some robots come with modes for the mop feature as well (similar to the standard and max modes in the vacuum features). Does the G10/G30 have this feature for mopping as well? (In a high mode, the robot would dispense more water for an intense clean). In the MI 2-in-1 robot, there is an option to fit a larger 'dry only' dustbox if you choose a 'sweeping only' mode. It comes with 2 compartments - one dry + wet, and the second only dry, giving it more vacuuming capacity. Is this an option with the G10 / G30 hybrid as well? Or is there one standard dry + wet compartment?

The EufyHome app is great. It offers an impressive amount of control for a vacuum that doesn’t have room-by-room app support, including speaker volume control, suction level customization, and scheduled cleaning options. However, the physical body of the Verge feels too fragile for my personal preferences. As with most robot vacuums, the dust collection bin isn’t particularly big – only 0.6 litre in capacity – so you’ll need to empty it fairly regularly. Fortunately, this is easy enough to do and accessing the washable filter is straightforward as well. Eufy RoboVac G30 Edge review: Is it good at finding its way around?The randomly-bouncing models most likely would not cover the whole cleaning area unlike the ones with mapping. This robot vacuum also uses a brushless motor. That isn’t to say that there are no brushes on it; it still uses side brushes and a brush roll to collect dirt and debris. The motor, however, is brushless, so the G30 is much quieter than most vacuums or robot vacuums during operation despite its maximum of 2000Pa suction power. It’s so quiet, in fact, that the noise level of the RoboVac G30’s wheels on the floor is comparable to the sound of its motor. Eufy promises that, at 55-68dB, it’s about as loud as a microwave oven, and I have to agree. If you like to turn your robot vacuum before quiet times, you’ll really appreciate its super-low operating volume—and if, like me, you have a pet that’s a little anxious, they’ll love it, too. I would suggest getting the L70 Hybrid as it is Lidar-guided, has a bigger battery and is the most efficient among the others which helps it to finish cleaning faster. It also has the strongest suction which definitely helps with pet hair.

Find My Robot Option. With the app, you can recognize the eufy RoboVac 15C MAX location with the Find My Robot feature. Supported by the 15C MAX model only;The WiFi-enabled "C", "G", "L", and "X" Series can be controlled from your smartphone as well as voice commands if you have Alexa or Google Home. Cliff & Anti-Collision Sensors The Eufy Home app is pretty minimal, with the upside being that it’s a breeze to navigate. The top of the home screen displays the vacuum’s battery level along with cleaning area and cleaning time stats. Vacuum controls, a scheduling option, and detailed cleaning history are accessible from a tool menu on the bottom of the screen. But I wasn’t crazy about the fact you must open a separate pop-up window every time you want to view the map, especially since the valuable real estate in the center the home screen, where other robot vacuum apps typically locate the floor plan, was here occupied by a static graphic of a living room.

Thanks to mapping, the robot resumes cleaning when it’s done charging in case it didn’t finish the job before the battery died.

The latter uses magnetic fields to identify position and distance. Unlike some robot vacuums on the market, such as the Ecovacs T8 Aivi, the Eufy RoboVac G30 Hybrid doesn’t have a built-in camera to help it see obstacles. When you open the app while the robot’s working, it shows how many square feet the robot has covered and the duration of that cleaning session. You can also see how much battery it has left.
