With a 1300 watt motor that has a PowerDrive motor that produces exceptional torque due to clever reduction gearing. This mower is supplied with either 1 x 4Ah battery or 2 x 2Ah batteries that charge in 125 minutes for the 4Ah and will give a free run time of around 50 minutes to enable you to cover a lawn up to 550m² in size. Naturally this run time will depend on the condition of the lawn, however the Powerdrive (Efficient Energy Management) feature adjusts the power so you only use what you need. This is a great feature from Bosch and definitely helps to preserve the life of the batteries.

It will deliver a great cut to you lawn, exactly to your specifications, each and every time. The Bosch UniversalRotak 36-550 CORDLESS lawnmower really is the one to beat. There is no mulching as standard on this machine, but it does have something called leaf collect. Leaf Collect, means that the blades cut and collect dead leaves from across your lawn. The suction from the blades will then send the leaves to the cutting box with the grass. Though this may not be enough for the full 550 square metre rating, it will reduce the number of emptying trips that you will need to do. It has a large 40 litre grass box, a 36 cm cutting width and 6 cutting heights that range from 25mm to 70mm. The Bosch UniversalRotak 36-550 cordless lawnmower is best suited to lawns up to 550m² in size. If you happen to fall into this category, unfortunately the Bosch UniversalRotak 36-550 does NOT have a rear roller In terms of price, it is not the best value for money mower at the moment.
