It’s clear if you value or like the idea of having a smart assistant to talk to like you can on an Apple Watch or a Fitbit smartwatch, the Amazfit Band is the one that’s going to have more appeal. Smartwatch features are level pegged too with both using the Zepp companion phone app on either Android and iOS devices. You're also getting those SpO2 readings carried out by the same sensor that delivers the heart rate data. We tested it against a dedicated pulse oximeter and found that readings were identical.

It's perhaps not the biggest screen to read a recipe on, but it works. You can also connect it to Strava and Relive to soak up the Kudos and create videos of your outdoor adventures.

This feature is only supported by Android devices with Zepp App version 6.10.0 or higher version installed. It's got a 5ATM waterproof rating, which means it's safe for showering and a swim up to 50 meters' depth.Heavy usage scenario: Heart rate monitoring is always on and measures at 1-minute intervals, high-precision sleep and all-day stress monitoring are enabled; 200 pushed messages a day; receive 15 call notifications per day, vibrations last for 10 seconds each time; raise wrist to see device time 500 times; sync with the Zepp App once per day; test blood-oxygen 2 times per day; exercise data is recorded for 90 minutes per week. Now, we think this might be a combination of things. It may be that the Band didn't sit tight enough, despite using it on the tightest fit option available. There must be some software issues here too. The major difference between the two here is that the Amazfit has an SpO2 sensor that's capable of measuring blood oxygen levels for that extra insight into your current state of fitness. It’s not used to diagnose serious health issues.
