About this deal

I have certainly tested this Tinted Serum extensively. I’ve worn masks for hours where I could feel sweat dripping underneath it. Bearing in mind it is not usual for houses in the UK to have air con, I’ve done a workout on the hottest day of the year, gone from muggy rooms to ones with fans. I’ve sat in a hot car with my air con off as I was listening for sounds as I thought something was wrong with my car. It’s been into air conditioned supermarkets and then hot outdoors, humid walks etc. Nothing phases this product. It’s not transfer proof with masks, a little will come off. I wasn’t ever that much of a fan of the original True Match, but this new tinted serum sounded more like my kind of base product, so I was excited to give it a try.

Look at the inside of your arm. If your veins appear blue or purple, you’re cool-toned, while green veins indicate warm-toned skin. If you’re not sure or you see a mix of blue and green, you may have neutral undertones. I agree that the finish is natural. It’s not matte, but it’s not dewy, so yes natural luminous is a good way to describe it. I will talk a bit more in a minute about how this performs on the skin and a product I think it’s similar to. I will also say now that I do love this product, it’s been performing well for me. The formula is just a bit confusing to me. Once you’ve determined your undertone, then you can move on to your skin tone. True Match Super-Blendable Foundation has shades that satisfy warm, cool, and neutral undertones, with colors ranging from fair to deep. I find the finish a bit powdery actually. It reminds me very much of the Lancome Miracle Air de Teint which has been discontinued. I used to absolutely love that stuff and one year I wore nothing but all Summer. The shades were a bit crap, too warm or too grey. However, since there wasn’t much coverage, I could just about get away with it. Since that product was discontinued, I’ve been on a quest to find something like it. And I finally have! This performs just like it, it smells the same, it feels the same on the brush and with how it applies. It lasts just as long, it’s easy to wear for Summer and I’ve found a shade much better for me! Although I find the whole plumping tinted serum aspect confusing, the actual product is gorgeous!

description":"Self-care practices can suffer during busy periods in life – and skincare routines are no exception. Multi-step routines are able to transform skin concerns and encourage brightness and strength, but when we don’t have the time to follow them consistently, flare-ups like dryness or dullness can occur. Hiya everyone, coming at you with another base product review today. This time for the L’Oreal Paris True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum. That name might be quite a mouthful, but the product itself is exactly what I’ve found myself looking for recently. Therefore, someone with “ medium skin tone” would fall somewhere in the middle of the spectrum. Step 4: Combine undertone and skin tone depth to get your shade

For me, the easiest and least messy way to apply the L’Oreal Paris True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum is to place a few drops directly onto a dense buffing brush. I use the Estée Lauder Futurist Aqua Brilliance Watery Glow Primer and I don’t set my foundation with any powder. I use 4 spritzes of MAC Fix+ at the end of my makeup application. This evens out the skin and covers the worst of my redness. I do still need to conceal any acne I may have. I think the coverage is just right. Enough that you notice a difference, but not so heavy it’s like a mask. It dries down to be a natural finish, not flat, but not dewy. That’s why this guide exists! We’re here to explain exactly how to get the natural makeup look of your dreams, from your skincare routine to product recommendations and application advice. Keep reading for a natural makeup look tutorial from the L’Oréal Paris experts. You can also explore our virtual makeup try on tool afterward to discover how the products will look like on you."Be sure to look at your swatch under different lighting before doing your entire face. And don’t just rely on your bathroom lights, be sure to test out your foundation in natural lighting as well to get a sense of what it will look like when you’re spending time outside. Well, this has been a journey haha! I don’t think I’ve ever been confused by a formula before and had so many conflicting comments! But when we got to the application and wear test, I hope it became clear that I actually love this product and think it’s well worth the price! It’s actually a bargain for how it performs. I say that purely because it’s so like the Lancome for me and that was triple the price at least. url": "https://www.lorealparisusa.com/beauty-magazine/makeup/face-makeup/foundation-true-match-shade-finder"

description":"There’s no denying a full face of makeup is stunning in its own way, but there are times you may want to opt for a subtler look. Maybe you’re running errands or simply want a slight boost for your work-from-home calls. Whatever your reasoning, a natural-looking foundation finish is the answer. Of course, achieving this can be easier said than done. If you’re not sure where to start, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to pull together four tips to keep in mind for your next natural makeup look." This method is bizarre — we’ll be the first to admit it — but we’ve seen it work. Hold a white piece of paper up to your skin. The white should create a cast of color on your skin. If your face suddenly appears more pink or blue, your undertones are cool, and if you give off a more yellowish hue, you’re warm. If your skin seems gray, you have neutral undertones.Ingredients: Foundations sit on your skin's surface and their ingredients should be compatible with your skin type to enhance your overall complexion. The L’Oréal Paris True Match Tinted Serum Foundation Light 0.5-2 is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate and replenish the skin whilst giving makeup coverage. It's important to understand the ingredients used in foundations as they are sitting on the skin for most of the day and can actually help improve your skin beyond cosmetic purposes.

The L’Oreal True Match Nude Plumping Tinted Serum is said to be an infusion of makeup and skincare, and claims to be the first tinted serum with 1% hyaluronic acid.
