Moments where I wanted to slap them both for being idiots. Moments where I cried like a baby . I have fallen completely in love with both Elliott and Kathryn . The last 25% are EVERYTHING. There's a plot twist that had me wanting to punch Elliot in his beautiful face. Part of me understood it, most of me did not. I found myself doubting this HEA, but I shouldn't have, because the ending was perfect. I won't say more about it, because I think it needs to be experienced (whether you love it or hate it will be up to you). For me, it was worth every minute.

I was super excited to get an eARC of this book. The previous book in this series, The Takeover is one of my favourite romance books of all time.

Elliot and Kate’s story was intriguing and sexy. I enjoyed the office romance and enemies to lovers trope. Then one day Elliot sees Kate in a different light and all of a sudden their attraction can’t be denied. TL Swan has perfected the romance and the humor for all her books. Her men can swept you off your feet and make you laugh out loud.

This would’ve had to be the most painful and frustrating book EVER! While I loved the first like 60-70% of the book, the last 30-40% made me want to smash my head against the wall at least a million times and torture and kill Elliot in the worst way possible :D
