Kawaii Flower Drawing

Kawaii drawing is easy. If you’ve ever tried to draw a kitty or a pony, kawaii drawing will be as simple as child’s play. This week’s prompt is YOUR PET – past, present, or future. 🙂Here is my doggie Spike, who was a puppy I adopted from a shelter when I was 18 years old.

Kawaii drawing is a cute representation of anything using pen, markers, and paper. There are many different styles of kawaii drawings, from daily objects to chibi, to anime, and different facial expressions. Since it can be considered ‘cute,’ it has become popular among people. This trend has evolved into many different types of art used for decorations, food, stationery, and more! So when I sat down to draw it, the drawing “just came out”. No research, no struggle, no failed attempts. One of those rare times. 🙂 I love it when that happens. Now, I know 1 month is NOT enough to learn storytelling. This is just an introduction. My aim is tolearn a few scenes that can be used for kawaii situations. There is no definite appearance or features for kawaii things. It changes based on the person who views something as kawaii. However, general features and characteristics are associated with cute things, such as faces with big round eyes, small noses, and small bodies with large heads. Octopuses are one of the cutest animal characters to draw. Choose your favorite color palette and have fun drawing this cutie.Like building a visual vocabulary of images, storytelling is an on-going practice. I will start simple and build on it. Month 6 Anyone interested in kawaii art should give kawaii drawings a try because it is fun to learn! There are great books that feature step-by-step instructions and add challenges for mastery. Ability to draw many things from memory is something that happens over time. I am putting this skill as a future project. Sequence Focus on the big shapes first. For example, in step 1 all we are doing is drawing 2 egg-shaped objects. Don’t think of them as “head” or “body”. Just focus on drawing 2 eggs. Trust me, it will work! I thought, “OMG, these are amazing.” And then I thought, “I want to draw like this!” My “Grand Plan” to Learn How to Draw Kawaii in 6 Months Who doesn’t love a friendly pup? This drawing of a friendly dog is perfect for all skill sets. Plus, it won’t take long to create, but it looks incredible when you’re done. 13. I also skipped “colour”because it’s not directly related to the style of kawaii that I am learning right now.

This week’s drawing prompt is BEVERAGE. I couldn’t decide between tea and coffee, haha. So I went with my daughter’s favorite beverage – strawberry milk. You can’t go wrong with pink and Japanese kawaii aesthetic!!! 😀 This drawing is so original and looks amazing! Getting the hair right will take some practice, but other than that, this drawing is definitely doable for a newbie. 3. Strawberry Cow Credit: @lilypawstudio | Ko-fi There are many inspirations around that can help you make your own kawaii character. These are kawaii versions of non-kawaii figures. They are usually cheerful-looking creatures with large eyes and small noses, making them attractive. Even though kawaii characters all follow very similar features, their visual structure can vary a lot since there are tons of other kawaii characters that aren’t based on real animals but more on abstract concepts like rainbows or stars so on.
