I approached the fragrance counter looking for something for spring/summer. When I spoke with the saleslady I described something slightly sweet, a fresh, fruity floral. I also mentioned that I didn't want something that would enter the room before me, or be overbearing in the hot summer. She immediately headed for the JC Floral. Full disclosure, I'm not a big fan of other JC fragrances so I was very skeptical.

Jimmy Choo Rose Passion Eau de Parfum is tropical in the right measure, without exaggerating the smell of sunscreen – something very common in this type of creation. The frangipani note is charming and of quality, bringing the fruity freshness and the “waxed” aspect of the flower, especially of the coral color (which has a very different perfume than the white one). The Jimmy Choo Floral Perfume 90ml (3oz) bottle is similar in design to the Original Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum but more egg-shaped. The Floral Perfume bottle is mint green and more elongated than the original but has the same indentation pattern in the glass. Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.

The box for Jimmy Choo’s Floral Perfume is turquoise with a pink magnolia in the center. The box has the Jimmy Choo signature textured snakeskin-feel with silver detailing on lettering.

Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number). Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS. However, I am glad I wore this fragrance today, because the florals do come through once this settles. Nectarine is still the main note, nose to skin, but the scent aura around me is very full on floral.I particularly love this type of fragrance! Anyone who knows Bossa (Granado) will immediately identify with it. It also appeals to fans of Light Blue Sun (D&G), the latter being more citrusy, and Terracotta Le Parfum (Guerlain), but this one is much more carnal and heavier.

The sweet pea, apricot, and magnolia add a floral scent that has me nostalgic for spring when I use this in the winter. In the springtime, Floral by Jimmy Choo feels like an accessory to the other springtime fashion pieces in my wardrobe.

If you like other Jimmy Choo perfumes or floral, citrus, and woody scents, then put this perfume on your wishlist. It might not be the right choice for you if you use your perfume sparingly and are not likely to reapply it throughout the day. Pros:

Quite the contrary, it is the type of product that few people like, and most who try it demonstrate a certain resistance. And this is understandable, since accords considered tropical, with a strong presence of frangipani and fruits, are still new in perfumery and have not penetrated the mass market.
