About this deal

This is a good bottle that will keep you smelling fresh and spice up your wardrobe at the same time—a fantastic choice to use on evening events and special occasions. After recommendations from Parfumo and, above all, after prolonged declarations of love from Jeremy, I finally had to take hold of this fragrance ...

If you’re going for the same vibe, Eros by the perfumer, Aurelian Guichard, has a scent reminiscent of a strong and passionate man; it’s intense, vibrant, and very noticeable. 2. YSL La Nuit de L’Homme Besides the impressively good performance after the dry-down, the scent is also refreshing and long-lasting. F by Ferragamo is a woody, oriental fragrance designed for men—a signature scent for those special moments when you want to indulge in something luxurious.Even with its EDT formulation, the intensely sweet, warm, and spicy mix gives this bottle an impressive sillage and longevity.

The latest men’s release from the Italian leather goods house, Ferragamo, is an oriental lavender that although late to the trend of Armani Code sniffalikes is one of the best of its kind. The lavender scent remains but becomes smoother and subtler instead of being a potential headache inducer. He’s also the nose behind the “F” fragrance collection: Pour Homme (2007), Pour Homme Free Time (2011), Fascination (2007), and Fascinating Night (2009). It’s also sweet sophistication, perfect for somewhat formal situations requiring a dressed-up, masculine scent. Development: ( Linear / Average / Complex): I can’t say that this one has different “facets” throughout the development. Pretty much stays the same throughout.

The “Pure Alpha” smell is unlike anything you get from other eau de toilettes: short and crisp and destined to be a crowd-pleaser. Nevertheless, I find the scent extraordinary and pleasant, not only at work, but also in the evening for going out, if you don't necessarily go to a club. It wouldn’t be a blind buy but rather a conscious choice for a man who wants to impress women and be remembered as someone who smelled unforgettable. It takes some getting used to, especially with the intensity of the first whiff that screams for attention, and not in the most appealing way. Let’s begin with labdanum, a waxy tree resin with woody, ambery nuances, and the perfect note to temper lavender’s herbal nature. Can’t quite picture the aroma? Think the warm drydown of scents like Intense Euphoria for Men, or Prada Man. Now imagine the lavender of Gaultier’s Le Male —loud, proud, and sweet!—being rounded, softened, and tempered slightly by that woody resin. Can you picture…er, smell it? Pros: Overall it is incredibly easy to wear in both warm and cool weather; easy to find and affordable. What exactly is bothering me? I mean, the fragrance starts with a slightly rotten apple note and already here I am out as far as the fragrance is concerned. Exactly that's what made me hungry for "fun" with the other fragrances, too. An opening, which I associate with nights spent drinking through and the feeling of having exaggerated ... no nice feeling and therefore for me, no nice scent either.
