This set was definitely unexpected although Bounty Hunters have always had a special place in Star Wars, and fans literally adore them. Logically, when this was announced and it included three fan-favorite characters, its success was already certain. There will be waves on the first of January, March, and May, just like we’ve seen for the past few years, delivering an assortment of playsets, dioramas, midi-scale ships, and more.The Kashyyyk Troopers set includes two 41st Elite Corps Trooper minifigures (camouflage pattern) and two 41st Kashyyyk Clone Trooper minifigures (camouflage pattern). Also includes stud-launching mini blasters. Buildable, one-seat swamp speeder features rotating engine and clips that may hold up to two stud-launching mini blasters. 4. 75035 Kashyyyk Troopers
It included four of the original Rebel Fleet Trooper minifigures which have always been rare in sets. In fact, they have appeared in no more than four or five sets in 20 years of LEGO Star Wars. Besides the minifigures, the set came with a surprisingly cool speeder with the ability to carry two troopers. I honestly consider this speeder to be one of the better-designed Speeder that LEGO has ever produced. A pair of movable stud shooters are located at the front, where laser cannons are placed on the vehicle onscreen. These are integrated nicely and the shape of the central frame is much more accurate here than on the model from 2014. Although perhaps not necessary, this is a good inclusion for play, able to rotate on its four-legged base. This weapon reminds me a little of the mortars occasionally deployed during The Clone Wars, so perhaps that was a source of inspiration.
The Battle on Saleucami set recreates a Clone Wars battle between the Republic Clone Troopers and Separatist Battle Droids! The included BARC Trooper minifigure pilots the BARC speeder, which features a spring-loaded shooter. A battle droid may pilot the buildable STAP. Other battle droids and super battle droids may emerge from the droid defense station. Speeder measures about 5 inches long. 17. Utapau Troopers 75036 Buildable characters are still in vogue in Billund, with the next slated to be 75381 Droideka. This particular Trade Federation droid feels like a perfect fit for this format, but questions remain: will it be able to curl up into a ball? Will it arrive in a giant trans-blue sphere to replicate its deflector shield? And will we finally see another minifigure-scale Droideka to accompany it? All unknowns for now, but there’s a lot of potential here… 75382 TIE InterceptorHop aboard the buildable Rebel Scout Speeder. Set includes 4 Rebel Trooper minifigures. The speeder, which seats two minifigures, features a detachable blaster canon with a 360 range of motion. 3. Imperial Dropship 7667 Minifigures: x3 Snowtrooper (three different head variations), x1 Scout Trooper (four figures total) An updated helmet was produced for Phase II Clone Troopers in 2022, so they accommodate accessories. These holes have affected the shape of the helmet, which is less rounded than before. Initially, I found the update quite jarring and I still prefer the 332nd Company Clone Trooper from 75283 AAT (Armoured Assault Tank), but the revised helmet is growing on me. No, unfortunately, the 'whininess' is simply the timbre of his voice and the style of his delivery. I don't hate it. Yet, I also rarely seek it out. That's because he flaunts too much. Videos from young kids tend to be like gansta rap, it's all about how much you have and how cool you are, not about the issues at hand. Here’s where things get really interesting, and not necessarily because of the build: alongside a smaller and more accessible take on 2021’s 75308 R2-D2, 75379 R2-D2 is said to include minifigures of both the eponymous astromech droid and… Darth Malak. The Knights of the Old Republic Sith Lord is rumoured to be one of multiple characters inserted into 2024 sets to celebrate LEGO Star Wars’ 25th anniversary.
