Murphy+Sabrina Spend time together & grow close. One of the things I loved about this book though is that it kept moving and kept the emotions coming. I laughed, I shouted, I rejoiced, I froze with no words and let's just not mention the swearing. The biggest thing for me though it's been a long time since I cried at a book, let alone cried at multiple points... And this book delivered on that. In walks Natalie. She grew up around football. Her father and brothers all play. Its been her life for her entire life. She comes home from being away and immediately is introduced to the Kings. Sabrina is the beautiful perhaps little nerdy girl next door thats always been around and always been at odds with Murphy. However, things change when they both end up at the same college, learn a little more about each other and are constantly thrown into the same place by their joint friends.

I knew Murphy was special but I did not know HOW special and how easily he was going to steal my heart. We learn why he is the way he is and we also learn there is more to the surface than meets the eye when it comes to him. The same with Sabrina, we know she is just another part of the girls but here we get to really know her and her characteristics. She is a total bad ass. She will totally make you get a girl crush! Brady takes one look at his best friend/teammate's sister, Natalie, and he knows without a doubt he wants her. He also knows he can't have her. Why? Well, she's off limits, as Cooper has stated. She's football royalty in their town. And she's only 17. But can Brady keep his hands off her? That's a question he continually asks himself, along with why he can't stop thinking about her. He's supposed to be focusing on football, not on his best friend's sprite of a sister. I have no words to explain the complex, messy, and beautiful perfection that is Cooper and Carys’ story. Bella Matthews is one of my favorite contemporary romance authors, and “Changing the Game” did not disappoint! Cooper and Carys were always going to face challenges, especially considering the fact that they’re technically step-siblings. But their love for each other is stronger than their fear of what their family will think of them. I really loved everything about this novel, even though some of the angsty scenes made me want to cry. As for that ending… I just about threw my kindle at the wall! I was going to wait until I read the duet in full to review because there really isn’t much I can say about the story without spoiling something but then I realized I can tell you other things :) *happy and not so happy face* LOLAfterwards, Nat & Brady's relationship Steadily Grows! I loved how Solid it is, Even through the troubles that come, And how easily they fell for Eachother. Wow! More Than A Game is my first Bella Matthews book, and I was totally blown away!!! I loved everything about this book.

I loved her strong, independent and fierce Natalie aka Nattie was! Especially after what she went through, I loved that she didn’t bring her down. And that she didn’t let it define her or stop her for continuing on with her life. This is my first read from Bella and It definitely won't be my last. More Than a Game had me in my feels in all the best ways!!. In More Than A Game we are now taken to their college years, the whole gang appears and we get to know our leading character more, Murphy and Sabrina.

Sabrina! Girl after my own heart! She definitely has taken Nattie’s place in my soul! She is officially my favorite Kroydon Hills lady, for now! She really has come into herself in this book! Her perfect persona is slowly chipped and she’s so much more than she puts out!

This is my first book by this author and even though it’s the first of a standalone duet, it is not a standalone. There are about 50 thousand other couples in this book from past stories that it was so confusing and somehow they are all married to siblings or are related…? I honestly gave up trying to figure out who anyone was and just let them meld into one singular “other characters” character so I could keep the story going. Bella, you have earned a permanent fan and I will follow you until the death of me. Your writing, is phenomenal. The way you capture the characters and their thoughts and feelings and you make me feel them too, you deserve ALL of the awards. I seriously can’t wait to read more of your books, and stalk your socials for new releases.Its only so long they can both deny it and try to not let anything come of it. The build up to it all made me feel like a giddy 5 year old, I just so eager and ready for it to all fall into place for them. And you know you're invested when you rant and rave to your kindle 😂 Just one look, one short look and the world stops to spin in that moment of magnetic pull. One look is enough to realize that she’s the one. The one who deserves everything, and more than that. She’s everything he want, everything he needs, and yet she’s the one off-limits. Will he be able to stay away or will he do anything to make her his…only his?
