My tests have shown you get about 20% – 30% of the peel strength on PVA’s with epoxy. This may be enough to exceed the PVA’s grip on the substrate in some situations, particularly dense softwoods. In these cases, you’d be safe and I’m not sure what you’re using this combination on, but my applications tend to be dynamic and often highly loaded, so I have to shy away from this bond scenario.
