About this deal

And who doesn't want to smell clean, effortlessly elegant and yet intriguing. I would also put most of the Prada's Infusion up there with Colognes from Hermes and that is the highest praise.

Infusion d'Iris is a breath of very expensive smelling fresh air, in a mass market saturated with sweet patchouli candied sillage bombs. It was everything I wished for. All that original balmy smoky powdery drydown...it arrives faster and stays longer. Now, I kind of miss the opening of my previous one. I just might get it again and wear them together and have everything I want. They are worth it. I think maybe at the time i just wasn't ready for this masterpiece to be mine, I didn't appreciate the beauty in its golden vintage style liquid. Over the last year ive wasted more money on failed blind buys than anyone will ever know, i think trying to figure out what fragrance i can call my own; my signature style. And i have gravitated towards pradas infusion d'iris line for so long now that i think this one is it, my special scent that just fits. Ive always loved fragrances that were thought to be ' too old' for me, aldehydic, chypre scents but didnt think i was ready for them yet so I would try wearing the age appropriate fruitchoulis, the gourmands.. and all the things can tolerate but dont really love. Prada Infusion d'Iris is one fancy perfume that lives up to its powdery smooth iris-based fragrance that is soft and easy to wear. Overall, I find this to be pretty unisex, and it smells like something my grandfather used to wear. This is def not a warm scent. More like clean, bright, and calming. The feeling of it reminds of the cool, crisp air of autumn (in the Northeastern states)- where you can smell the scent of greenery mixed with the smell of fallen leaves, and sometimes, the chilly air nips your nose.

I have spritzed this time and time again but always disappointed. It's far too powdery for my taste, veering towards the old lady type, when it was fashionable to dust on fragranced talcum body powders on warm bodies after a bath. Infusion d’Iris Cedre strictly follows Prada’s fragrance aesthetics, it is clean, cold and totally unisex. It opens with just a touch of piercing neroli, and goes straight to iris. This iris is Prada’s signature - cold, powdery, retro and slightly chemical. Not the iris we can encounter in Dior Homme. Woodsy notes of cedar give the slight masculine touch. The warmer benzoin gives this composition needed touch of human warmth, while the incense somehow stays cold and archaic. The overall composition is clean, unobtrusive and little bit retro. Like a retro soap or a bubble bath. I can smell north Italian roots of Prada company (Milan, but also Bologna or Venice). To get a good perfume similar to Prada, we have collected some Prada infusion d'iris dupes. Because these perfumes are affordable, anyone can enjoy the excellent cologne's mouthwatering aroma. So, look and select the best fit that matches your soul. Top 5 Prada Infusion D'iris Perfume Dupes Prada L'eau Ambree A royal scent that reflects your personality and is a game changer. Both are powdery but the original turns woody/incensey while Absolue has none of these traits. Instead I get sweet, warm, nutty and buttery iris. I would describe it as a softer, less spicy and more contemporary version of L'Heure Bleue. I have been trying to get to know this perfume for a couple of years now and each time i wear it, it lasts a long while and has a long pervading sweetness alongside an iris note (one that shows violet, powdery, suede, dusty, chewy facets), which stays right through to the base.

Iris cedre is clean, in a powder way rather than a soapy way. It starts with a sharp citrus and Iris, followed by a slightly metallic note that lingers for quite a while but i found that after a few hours the drydown is basically identical to the original, a powdery incense finish. On the Infusion d`Homme bottle you will find Neroli de Tunisie, Irris Pallida, Bois de Cedre, VETIVER, Encens de Somalie and Benjoin du Laos. I also sampled the newer 2015 version at the pharmacy and while it performed better on me (less incense, fresher and greener), there was too much of a 'diaper' smell in the dry down. Not that they smell the same, nor do they share the same notes or anything like that, but this scent shares the same mood as Versence and, to a lesser extent, Kenzo's L'Eau Peau (I think that's what it's called). The post 2015 reformulation does have the cedar and iris, but is sweeter, less smokey and more fruity than woody. Personally I find the shape-shifting part of it mostly gone.

There you have it. They took the Vetiver out from the Infusion d`Homme and named it Infusion d'Iris Cèdre. The last one is much more feminine than Infusion d`Homme. The Iris is much more stronger and sweet. Not Le male or 1 Million sweetness. More like a classic flower fragrance for ladies. My mum used to have something extremely similar in the early 90s. Iris Poudre Parfum spray is one divinity closely following the aura and sense of the original maker, Prada infusion d'iris. The soft, cozy, and woodsy scent revolves around the particular note extracted from the Iris flower's roots. The Iris scent is calming, almost reminding you of those quiet, majestic days that bring warmth and joy. Prada succeeded, as usual, in delivering a light, uplifting, high-quality combination while staying true to the agreement regarding the spotlight. They have handled patchouli delicately and let the amber's powdery aspects peek through. Peony, Freesia, and Jasmine are the core heart notes. However, the floral accents are subdued and not overwhelming. The freesia only briefly inserts its delicate petals into the composition before becoming extremely prominent.
