About this deal

This Wiki is inspired by the Indie published book Empress Theresa, about a young girl, Theresa Sullivan, who soon becomes united with a strange alien lifeform and gains superpowers. It has become infamous due mainly to the antics of its author, Norman Boutin. The final chapter is filled with numerous questions caused by Theresa putting the entire human race into a 600-year coma. Likewise, Steve approves of the thought of, in his words, getting "the lawyer bitch" and "killing the bastards." It must be remembered that, according to Norman Boutin's mind, his book is the greatest that has ever been written. To him, it is absolutely perfect, and above all criticism. It is imp

Norman Boutin signed up for Writing Forums in October of 2012, before he had published Empress Theresa, and claimed that he was there to "find out what people think of it." [6]I didn’t have to do research. It was all in my head. Of course I looked up a few facts like the amount of gold in Fort Knox, the tectonic source of Antarctica, and the density of xenon, but 99.9% of the story came out of my memory. [25] Omnipotence [ ] Does This Remind You of Anything?: The alien "merges" with Theresa by appearing as a "softball-sized white ball" and entering her abdomen. Yes, you read that right. The first chapter explains that the first chapter will introduce the main character, while the second and third chapter will set up the story's premise, and the fourth chapter is where the action starts. The fifth and sixth chapters, by the way, are mainly just recaps of the fourth chapter. Whole schools of literary criticism could be structured solely around attempting to explain this level of self-referentiality.

Theresa's husband, Steve Hartley. He exists only to be rude to anyone who might offend his precious Theresa. One of Norman Boutin's most used responses against critics who couldn't finish Empress Theresa is to tell them that, since they haven't read the whole book, their opinion doesn't matter. He claims that they can't judge characters, plot, how good a story is, etc., because they haven't seen the full scope of what happens. These assertions were then followed by comments following a critic mentioning that Theresa was not an easy character to relate to. Norman responded by saying: The Prime Minister of Israel declares Theresa to be "the right hand of God" and how an interview between Theresa and the press was the most important interview since Moses came down the mountain. Jews are very respectful about using the name of God and wouldn't throw it around so casually. In that time, Theresa has 420 children, meaning that at a minimum she would have to have been pregnant for 315 straight years, becoming pregnant immediately after the last child is born.At a crucial point in the "action", Theresa compares herself to the heroine of The Hunger Games. And whines about how her life is so much harder. Creepy Child: Theresa spawns 420 of them while the world is in a 600-year coma. They have numbers for names, they're kept in a prepubescent state for centuries, they all look like Theresa and Steve... yeah. He has likewise claimed there would be an "Oscar-winning Empress Theresa movie." [21] Not only that, but he believes it will have "multiple Oscar nominations," not only for best picture but for best actress, best supporting actor (two characters will be nominated, in fact!), best screenplay, best set design, best cinematography, and best special effects. [22] Norman has even stated that his "real objective is that the book be made into a movie," which he believes will be "an instant hit, an eye popping spectacle," adding, "If the movie is made and made well I don't care if nobody but the movie producer reads the book." [23]

The land bridge between Crete and Israel will be raised in three weeks, giving it time to dry out from mud and to allow safer travel, and the new Israel is being raised in due time. ExxonMobil begins exploring Theresa’s island to sell the newfound wealth there, and OPEC begins to squirm as they’ve realized they’ve ended themselves prematurely. A Minor Kidroduction: The book opens with Theresa merging with HAL at age ten. The "plot" doesn't start until she's 18. Whatever you choose to do, don't become one of those people who thinks their own individual look through has completed the editing process, and never become one of those people who thinks "their crap don't stink." Get a second opinion, a third opinion, a fourth opinion, etc. Join a writer's group. Become involved in the indie writing scene. Get to know other authors - especially those who have made a name for themselves. You will grow, and so will your craft. A soldier gives Theresa thermal garments so she doesn't get cold in the plane thousands of feet up in the air even though she's going to be nuked to death anyway. Theresa apparently forgot about her heat-emitting powers at that moment. If a reader does this, and still dislikes the book, then Norman Boutin will simply dismiss their argument because they didn't read the whole thing. Our Dark Matter Is Mysterious: HAL is said to be made out of dark matter which manifests as a ball of white light and is able to grant Theresa various special powers. Many professional authors find it hard to read their finished works because, in their mind, there is still much to change. In Norman Boutin's mind, however, he has surpassed any need for changes. In one instance, when a critic was reviewing the dialogue in one scene from the book, Norman replied: "I wrote that scene exactly as it should have been written, as always." [5] Another critic said to him, "You think you know it all and no matter what you believe you know everything and everyone else is wrong." Norman replied, "All of which is true. What's your point?" [6] Late into the story, to celebrate the anniversary of Theresa's death and rebirth, a stuntman decides to copy Theresa's leap into the ocean...Ignoring the fact that she only survived because HAL was able to keep her body in good enough condition that she could be recovered. He dies instantly on impact and it becomes just another aside in a book full of them. Theresa herself for never considering using HAL to escape the plane and only much later comes up with a crazy plan using Noodle Implements that nearly killed her.
