About this deal

Specijalni senzor meri atmosferski pritisak (u rangu 260/1100 hPa) i prikazuje vrednost u formi simbola, što omogućava ranu detekciju vremenskih trendova. You can also peruse the training effect of the run and there is also a handy little chart mapping pace/heart rate/elevation change. There is even an option to add a memo about the run which is handy since you can mark any occurrence that affected your run (e.g. had to have a 30 second small talk with a 'friend'). high-tech za zahtevne trkače: sat koristi GPS tehnologiju da meri trenutnu brzinu trčanja i pređenog rastojanja. Svi podaci se pojedinačno prikazuju na displeju When charged about eight hours every day under indoor fluorescent lighting (500 lux), and charged at window side on a sunny day for two hours in a week (10,000 lux).

The maps are nicely detailed and you can pinch and zoom into areas. When you do that, there's a little bit of a delay as it readjusts the level of information but you're essentially getting a nice Google Maps experience on a watch here. As mentioned above, different buttons allow access to different menus, and this is all fine, but some features don't blend well or, in some cases, straight-up ignore each other. One good example is workouts: you can start a workout by swiping the Wear OS tiles and finding the one dedicated to workouts; another way is to press the top button to access the Casio workout menu. The G-SQUAD PRO GSW-H1000 runs a hybrid operating system that combines Casio's own software with Wear OS. The result of this tinkering is not a seamless user experience, especially if you haven't used a similar watch before, which I assume will be the case for most people.GPS signal reception: Auto receive (with no mobile link function, time information, once/day); Manual receive (position information, time information) The monochrome screen is clear in sunlight, and the standby time with GPS deactivated, in smartwatch mode, is excellent – I could barely make a dent in it. Battery life with GPS on is less stellar but still good enough. Although it’s hard to tell how well solar charging works, as this is not indicated on the watch face, it does top up the battery quite rapidly when left in direct sun.

Is this a useful feature? I wasn't completely sold on this, but I guess Casio at least tried to offer something extra here, so I let them off the hook this time. Minimum heart rate/maximum heart rate; heart rate graph display (when heart rate measurement is continuously ON)Casio has never been afraid to throw on plenty of its own software and on this smartwatch it's clearly tried to separate it from the standard Wear software to let you dip into the Google features it can't offer. We'd have almost preferred if it tried to do a better job of merging the two, but maybe keeping things separate was the way to go. The watch’s power saving function helps, too. Place it in a dark spot between 10pm and 6am and, after an hour, it’ll automatically disable the display and enter sleep mode. Easy watch setting: world time for over 300 cities; timer setting; alarm setting; button operation tone on/off; vibrator setting
