About this deal

To do so, he places face down in front of him the voting token corresponding to the image he voted for. Once everybody has voted, all the voting tokens are revealed and placed on their corresponding images. Example: Tom has voted for image number 3 as have 5 other players. Tom would normally score 6 points, but since the maximum number of points scored is limited to 5, he'll only score 5, the maximum, this turn. Chris though, has voted with Amanda for image number 2. Unfortunately, that image was chosen by the storyteller with the red vote token, so they score no points. Kate has voted for an image which got no votes other than her own. She therefore scores no points.

Each team takes a voting board and then places the rabbit of the corresponding color on the 0 space of the scoreboard. The 84 image cards are shuffled and 4 are dealt to each player. The remaining image cards form the draw pile. Each player other than the storyteller scores one bonus point for each vote earned by his or her image (to a maximum of three bonus points).Dixit simulates going through an indie art exhibition with your friends. Where you get to see a lot of surreal and visually stunning artwork, but the fun comes from the witticisms and crude humour you share with your friends. Stella – Dixit Universe is a related game designed by Gérald Cattiaux and Jean-Louis Roubira, with artwork by Jérôme Pélissier, first published in October 2021. [31] What they say can take various forms: it can be made up of one or several words, or even be nothing more than an onomatopoeia. It can be invented from scratch or take the form of works already existing (a line or two from a poem or song, the title of a movie or some other work, a proverb, etc).. Otkrijte u koje svetove i gde vas sve vaša mašta, ali i mašta vaše dece i vaših prijatelja može odvesti ?????‍♂️???????‍❤️‍??‍♀️?‍♂️????⛰??? Dixit is still one of the best party games on the market. It’s easy to learn rules, and a casual playstyle means there’s rarely a bad time to pull out and play it.

If you haven’t played Dixit yet, the basic gist of the game is that there will be a storyteller each round, and they will declare a card from their hand with a vague hint while the other players also try to match that hint with one of their cards, with the storyteller aiming to have their card be figured out by at least one player, but not everyone, with the main draw of the game being the wonderfully illustrated cards with surreal imagery, making the vague hints needed even more vague by way of the artwork alone. The bunnies mark the player’s scores on the scoreboard, while the tokens are used for the game’s voting process. Accommodates 3–12 players. Features updated artwork; illustrations by Pierre Lechevalier (Pierô), with color by Cardouat.

4-6 Player Dixit

Unfortunately, Dixit is a bit of a risk. It’s a highly social game, so the amount of enjoyment and fun is dependent on the group of players. If the group is filled with enthusiasm and creativity, then absolutely you’ll have a blast. Otherwise, you might find it all a bit flat. As the storyteller, you have to give a title so that at least one person guesses your card; in this case, the storyteller and whoever guessed the card, get three points each. But, if either all or none of the players guessed the card, everyone, except for the storyteller, get two points each.

The narrator must find his or her middle ground when describing their card. If they make it too easy or too difficult for other players to identify their cards, they could lose points. The goal for the players is to find the image of the storyteller from among those revealed. Each player secretly votes for the image they believe to be the storyteller's (the storyteller does not participate) by using their voting board. This means that each turn, 5 cards will always be revealed despite there only being 3 players in the game, with each non-storyteller having two cards each and the storyteller only having one. Each player then counts the number of unit squares in his/her remaining pieces (1 unit square = -1 point). New scoring board design – simpler, cleaner, more space efficient, (albeit arguably less interesting). Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands) may take longer to reach you. So with 4-6 players, you will always have 6 cards at the end of each turn, take voting tokens equal to the number of players at the start of the game, and the non-storyteller players always play only one card each round.

Each player (except for the storyteller) then secretly guesses which picture was the storyteller 's, using numbered voting chips. Each voting player cannot vote for the card(s) they had selected for the tableau. For games with seven or more players (under the Odyssey rules), each voting player may vote for a second image. [5] Once the votes have been revealed, scoring is based on the number of votes that correctly guessed the storyteller 's card.

Dixit Party - for 6 to 12 players

Each player, except the storyteller, scores one point for each vote that was placed on his or her image. The genius of Dixit is the way it forces you to get creative with your clues. It’s easy to get people to guess your card, and it’s easier to get them to guess incorrectly. But making it so only some will guess your card, that’s difficult.
