Already in the top note a somewhat conspicuous aromatic, deep, spicy, discreetly earthy note is perceptible, which builds up a little more in the heart note and I am probably one of the few, who quite like this scent note - it may only not be used together with clary sage - at least on my skin. It opens up with a burst of lemon and musk. Within 15 minutes you get a bit of smokiness, and the whole profile coming together smells reminiscent of deliciously grilled pineapple.

The musk and bergamot round out any sharpness for a powdery effect that makes Club de Nuit Intense Man smell way more expensive than it is. This easy-going Armaf perfume will keep you smelling clean and fresh from morning to night, with 7 hours of longevity. It’s very similar to Aventus by Creed. I doubt 99% of people would be able to tell the difference. It’s about as close to an alternative as you can get, and represents great value for money.Similarly, the high heat of summer will cause Ventana to project even more, and the deeper notes are going to be too overpowering. Something lighter and breezier like Blue Homme or Tres Nuit would be a better choice. How Much Does Armaf Cologne Cost? It’s also less harsh than Ventana, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for something 100% safe and accessible. Armaf’s Tres Nuit is a 9/10 from me. I have to take a point off because I would prefer it lasted a little longer, but beyond that, it’s all here. I honestly don’t feel the need to buy Green Irish Tweed anymore because of it.

Most clearly with the Club de Nuit Intense Man, which is a very clear clone of Aventus. The last few months, the even had very prominent support from Jeremy in many of his videos. Even if the Creed fanboys don't want to admit it: Armaf does good work in Creed cloning (whether you like it or not). Of course, it has to be said that they don't quite match the quality, of course. Still, Armaf sells good quality at ridiculous prices like so many brands from the Orient. Besides Aventus and that Green Irish Tweet clone, there's also Millesime Imperial and Silver Mountain Water. I like some Creeds, but I find them overpriced and the performance for the price range rather unworthy of the price. Of course, there are exceptions, which are absolutely great in the sale. It’s very reminiscent of Creed’s Millesime Imperial – about 90% similar – but with twice the longevity. You get a decent scent bubble for the first few hours, while the Creed original is notoriously light in terms of projection. Spring – the season of happiness and bloom begs for citrus, minty and basil-like notes. Think Tres Nuit.

This brings us to my first small point of criticism: up to the base note, Tres Nuit fits perfectly for warmer temperatures, i.e. more spring and summer. The warm woody base note is more suitable for cooler temperatures, i.e. autumn and winter. The fragrance is a bit unround for me. You get the iconic, in-your-face ambroxan blast straight away in the opening. Within half an hour, it subsides to make space for a warmer mid-section with floral freshness from lavender and geranium. Like all fragrances, Armaf’s colognes are available in two different types of concentrations. There’s Eau De Parfum (EDP) and Eau De Toilette (EDT). EDP is richer and longer lasting, while EDT is lighter and fresher—making it perfect for hot weather.

The base becomes pleasantly creamy, also slightly spicy, which gives the fragrance a pleasant softness and comes from sandalwood. Armaf seems to be among the brands that realised the importance of a unique fragrance and approached the matter in a peculiar, rather unique, way. In case you are willing to break away from the norm and try something new, then the discovery of their perfumes will change your life once and for all. Armaf – how did it start? At the same time the verbena is accompanied by a light citric, discreetly acidic note, which with the verbena evokes a fine aquatic, very discreet soapy, rather clean air-lifting aura and comes from the lemon.

The conspicuous note has now built up completely and is nothing else than coriander, the discreet earthy note from the top note has passed completely and now smells intensely aromatic spicy. The sandalwood is accompanied by a warming, balsamic nuance, which is discreetly waxy on the skin and provides a wonderful finish and comes from the ambergris.As such, make sure you only use 2-3 sprays if you’re going to be in an enclosed space like the office or public transport. Otherwise, you might risk offending those near you.
