The plot is fast paced and yet the relationship between these two developed slowly. This has a slight Beauty and the Beast storyline to it which would not have been all that obvious if not for multiple references to fairy tales and metaphoric castles. One of the things I liked about Teagan Hunter's writing is that there is a lot of sarcasm and humor filled banter mixed in with the sweet story that is being narrated. The chemistry between Rhodes and Ryan is steamy, emotional and very well done. The Story: Hollis and Lowell meet at his team-mate and her sisters wedding rehearsal and she hates him from the start, but at the wedding they have a one night stand and months later Hollis discovers she is pregnant with Lowell’s baby.

This is the second book from the "Carolina Comets" by Teagan Hunter and I loooved it. This is also the second book I am reading from the author and she already became one of my favourites.They start as friends, and honestly this made the book so much better and their feelings developed throughout their relationship. They started dating, and yes, everything went to shit and FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER IS NOT EVEN THE GUYS FAULT!! They both not only did well with their own voices, but also with their secondary voices as well. They brought the story to life for me and made it an exceptional listening experience!
