About this deal

There are subtle differences between Opti-Free Express and Opti-Free RepleniSH. These differences include comfort, value for money and bottle size. If you use hydrogen peroxide solution, it's very important that you follow the instructions for use and allow your lenses to soak overnight or for at least 6 hours in the case prior to applying onto the eyes. The hydrogen peroxide must be neutralized after use (because if you don't do this, it can be painful for your eyes). This is done by using a lens case with a neutralisation disc or by using special neutralisation tablets that you add to the solution in the lens case. These tablets also ensure that protein deposits are removed from the lens. If you were hoping for price to be the differentiator then, unfortunately not. Prices will change depending where you look but generally, they are around the same. Polyquaternium-1 - POLYQUAD® 0.001%, myristamidopropyl dimethylamine - ALDOX® 0.0005%, sodium citrate, poloxamine - TETRONIC® 1304, propylene glycol, sodium borate, sodium chloride

Aminomethyl propanol (AMP-95), Polyquaternium-1 - POLYQUAD® 0.001%, Myristamidopropyl dimethylamine - ALDOX® 0.0005%, Boric acid, Disodium EDTA, Sodium citrate, Poloxamine - TETRONIC® 1304, Sorbitol, Socium chlorideWhen you compare both Opti Free Express and Opti Free RepleniSH there are a lot of similarities between these two solutions. Indeed, they are both multi-purpose:

As we’ve discovered, the line between choosing Express or RepleniSH is so fine it ultimately comes down to whether you are after that little bit of added comfort or shelf life. Because this hydrogen peroxide solution contains no preservatives, AOSept Plus HydraGlyde is very suitable for sensitive eyes. AOSept Plus HydraGlyde features an improved technology for removing protein deposits. This ensures that your lenses are always perfectly clean, wherever and whenever you wear them. A big difference between hydrogen peroxide solution and multi-purposes solution is that you can only use hydrogen peroxide solution on the advice of your optician. The reason for this is that this type of solution contains hydrogen peroxide. This is why it's important that you are well informed in advance about how to clean your lenses with this specific type of solution. Both solutions are the exact same price; however, Opti-Free Express offers better value for money as it features a larger bottle than Opti-Free RepleniSH. At 355ml, you’ll get more uses from Opti-Free Express than Opti-Free RepleniSH which features a 300ml bottle.

I have been using Opti-Free for several years now, and find it very usable, making my lenses comfortable all day - every day" Review by Barry (13/05/2021) What is hydrogen peroxide solution? The subtle difference here though, hats off to you if you noticed, is that Opti Free Express is a larger bottle than Opti Free RepleniSH. At 355ml, Opti Free Express will give you a fair few extra uses than Opti Free RepleniSH. Ultimately, we’re a big fan of Opti Free Express and will most often recommend them to customers who commonly experience dry eyes. The rewetting agent used in this solution restores that much needed moisture and retains it throughout the entire day.

Opti-Free Express is a better lens solution if you’re looking for value for money as the 355ml bottle is guaranteed to last you longer.
