About this deal

Team up as iconic superheroes in a race against time to save the world The base release of Marvel Champions comes with a great selection of heroes for players to choose from.

Due to the popularity of the original game, there are many, many different versions of Love Letter out there, including one featuring Batman characters from Marvel’s rival comics company: DC. Most of these are simple re-themes that keep most of the gameplay mechanics from the base game, but with one or two extra elements like characters from a known property or roles with abilities unique to that version. Villainous Game System - In this asymmetric card game, each player takes the role of one of a Marvel Villain. Each Villain has their own powers and goals. Can only be played with other Marvel Villainous Games Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power’s villains range from the omnipotent god like beings to the organised crooks. You’ve got Thanos, the big bad of the MCU and our right power house – and that’s without the Infinity Stones! And on the other end of the spectrum, you’ve got Taskmaster, a chap whose power came from taking a dodgy concoction of chemicals. Sure, being able to imitate anything you see punch for punch is pretty darn useful, but it’s not much compared to innate strength and power of a Titan. The core concept of Marvel Villainous remains the same as Disney Villainous. Each player takes on the role of one of the classic villains from the Marvel comic book franchise. You could be any one of Thanos, Hela, Ultron, Killmonger or Taskmaster. This game scales for two to four players, despite there being five different villains. Which villain are you? Dominate the Marvel Universe as an iconic Villain! Follow your own twisted path to victory using sinister abilities to take on other Villains and mighty heroes from across the universe Villainous Game System In this asymmetric card game each player takes the role of one of three Marvel Villains Madame Masque Loki and MODOK! Each Villain has their own powers and goals Can be played as a standalone game or combined with Marvel Infinite Power - Perfect for Families and Marvel Fans Whether you're playing with a group of Marvel fans classic board gamers or your family Marvel Villainous Mischief & Malice is perfect for any game night and makes a great gift for Marvel fans! Great Replay Value Adjust the difficulty of the game to your preference! Marvel Villainous Infinite Power supports 2 to 3 players ages 12 and up and takes 20 minutes per player A great board game for kids and for Adults - What You Get Each game comes with 3x Domains 3x Villain Movers 90x Villain Cards 48x Fate Cards 51x Tokens 1x Loyalty Tile 1x Vendetta Tile 1x Slider Clip 3x Reference Cards 3x Villain Guides and Instructions - Clear Instructions Learn to play with a clear high quality step-by-step rulebook - Villainous Game System In this asymmetric card game each player takes the role of one of three Marvel Villains Madame Masque Loki and MODOK! Each Villain has their own powers and goals Can be played as a standalone game or combined with Marvel Infinite PowerBecome the baddie in this board game about seizing power before anyone else The tokens, card artwork and titles in Marvel Villainous are designed to embody everything about its characters. Players can choose to play either standalone battles against one another or in an overarching campaign that’s made up of multiple sessions. Choosing the campaign will allow players to improve their heroes and villains’ abilities between battles, imbuing the whole experience with a sense of progression. For a dungeon-crawler with great Marvel characters and fun gameplay mechanics, you could do worse than Marvel: Strike Teams.

However, players can develop strong bonds between their characters by having them work closely together, thereby acquiring benefits and improving their abilities. Mutants can also be upgraded with new dice, which will also increase their odds when going up against new challenges. Coordinate their efforts well, and players can seize victory for Professor X and his crew, but Mutant Insurrection is certainly no challenge for the faint of heart. As Samantha said in their review of the game: "The clever marriage of tactical gameplay, flavour and comic-book lore makes X-Men: Mutant Insurrection an adventure worth sharing". Save the galaxy from the threat of the Mad Titan in this intense board game The plastic figure of Thanos in the middle of this board definitely makes the game stand out. So how do you actually win? Venom’s objective is to use his symbiotes to merge with Spiderman, essentially you need to find Spider Man, move him into your domain and then use your allies to cover him in enough symbiote tokens to overpower his strength.

Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power

Marvel Champions: The Card Game takes the very well-worn formula of players coming together as a band of heroes to fight a classic villain, and mixes things up with its clever approach to card gameplay and challenge. A living card game from the publisher behind Arkham Horror: The Card Game, Marvel Champions manages to provide a unique experience that rewards and punishes its players in equal measure.

That's a lot to take in, and it's the first quibble I have with Marvel Villainous. Much like the original board game and other 'hobby' games like Arkham Horror: Final Hour, it can be overwhelming at first due to the many layers of gameplay you've got to navigate. The unique objectives are a blessing and a curse for the same reason; they provide plenty of replayability, yet each one takes a game or two to truly wrap your head around. A-game Another difference is the specialty cards which I guess have replaced conditions in the Disney Villainous series. When activated these can give you extra abilities that could come in really useful for example being able to pay power to place symbiote tokens from the pool on allies in your control. Only One Can Dominate This World Even though the original game was hardly what you'd call a failure, Marvel Villainous: Mischief and Malice works to patch up any holes. Namely, it smooths out Events and offers slightly nicer movers with a more premium feel.

We are Venom

Ravensburger and Prospero Hall have teamed up once again to bring you another Villainous game! This time, the Disney villains sit to one side. Here the baddies from the Marvel universe take the centre stage! This is Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power. Whichever player manages to reduce the health of their opponent’s team to zero is named the winner of the game. Marvel Dice Masters is a great series for players who want a straightforward game that allows them to use some of their favourite characters from the comics. A dungeon-crawler game where players can recreate some classic Marvel battles The detailed miniatures help to immerse players into the world of Marvel: Strike Teams. It’s an undeniable fact that one of the most popular aspects of the Marvel comics and films are the epic battles between the superheroes and their dreaded nemesis. There’s a reason why, love it or hate it, pretty much every entry in the MCU has to end with a CGI-filled action scene, and Marvel: Strike Teams knows that too. A dungeon-crawling game for two people, Marvel: Strike Teams enables players to recreate or envision big Marvel battles of their own.
