So, all the sprues you’ll find in any of the new Age of Sigmar Starter Sets come from the Dominion box. As anyone who has read our Dominion review will be able to tell, the sprues below are all given a letter value – A through to J. All of the sprues you’ll see below are assigned the same letter value as their Dominion forebears, which is why you may find some gaps in the numbering below. The diverse and unique profiles of Kruleboyz units synergize to a point of absurdity spread across a large portion of the battlefield. In math terms, a 12" bubble emanating from a Sludgeraker which lends an extra MW on VEC natural 6's to hit effectively covers a 24" in diameter circle of the table as that 12" range is actually the radius of a circle. This is a huge amount of table space. Assuming the Marshcrawla Sloggoth is actually a Kruleboyz unit and is eventually Errata'd to be legal in a tournament, a 36" bubble of +1 to hit in melee for ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY POINTS AND 12 WOUNDS IS INSANE. Taking a soup list combining all the Kruleboyz elements and a 16% potential to give a fighting enemy in melee a -1 to hit (or even a 50% chance to hit if fighting a monster), alongside a Murknob's 1-in-3 chance to ignore spells, makes the Kruleboyz potential for utility exponential and far-ranging. The subsequent clean-up, however, was a real pain as I simply couldn’t reach a lot of the areas I needed to. Tyler: I’m a big fan of the new Kruleboyz orruks. They present an interesting new take on greenskins, from the way they armour themselves to their anatomy. What’s really great about this set is that each unit in the group of ten has distinct sculpts. Whilst there are similarities from figure to figure – as you would expect there to be – no two are the same. Killaboss with Stab-Grot Again, she rolled well in her Fight phase, threatening to take two wounds from the Knight-Arcanum, but again I rolled better and the wounds were saved. Both Gutrippaz rolled to charge, but only one was successful, scoring the necesary points on the die to close the inches between where he and the Vindictor-Prime stood.It seems like a bit of a blunder on behalf of GW. The battleplan designed to teach the use of high ground can’t actually involve any high ground. These are delightful models to build and go together with ease. They only had the odd join-line visible, but these have all been carefully designed to hide in natural armour gaps anyway.
