The detailing on the faux-sole, where it looks like you have a heel, for example, means people need to really look to see that this shoe is different. The VIVOBAREFOOT Geo Racer II shoes are durable, lightweight, and stretchy. This feature makes it perfect for easy movement and maneuvering. So yeah, it stretches pretty well. Can I Transition Directly from Regular to Barefoot Shoes? The Vivobarefoot Geo Racer II is a great running shoe, and it is intended to be a perfect walking shoe. Its versatility and flexibility allow it to stretch easily with a durable sole for hard surfaces, rough roads, and pavements. One other favorite thing I love so much about this VIVOBAREFOOT men’s shoe model is its recyclable and reusable design. It gives a better and more sustainable option than other typical running shoes. It is made with recyclable materials reused to make even better models, reducing waste and helping the planet get better one step at a time.
The upper is simple and straightforward with only one color and a hexagonal design on the side. Its main material is mesh engineered from recycled PET plastic, making it breathable and appropriate for summer and spring. Fit Note, you can certainly run in them, but I’m choosing not to so they go the distance in regard to their overall durability. If you do run in them, I’d suggest being conscious of the sole and upper construction and if you notice either breaking down, stop the running to prolong your shoe’s life. Keep shape in mind, always, when selecting and sizing shoes. Sometimes you may have a severe mismatch that prevents you wearing a certain style at all, but usually you can play around with sizing and still enjoy the look you want. It is highly rated thanks to its exceptional pros that set it apart from regular men’s shoes. I think this shoe will work for more casual versatile training sessions but do note, it’s not a high-performer for me and I think this shoe is better served in other areas like daily wear and lifting. Running and Daily Wear Ha! Not sure anyone wants a boxset about TPU. Careful what you wish for! TPU – it’s also called the no-sew, or the mudguard on this particular style. It’s where the upper bonds to the sole. 100% knitted upper means the knit bonds extremely well, directly to the sole. No mudguard. Yes. This model has a removable insole and the internal structure of the shoe is finished so if you remove the insole there are no “open” hems and construction details. 2. Do the Vivobarefoot Geo Racer Knit fit true-to-size? After wear, the shoes are getting closer to a ‘roll’ but will never truly do that due to the amount of leather above them. Right now, it’s a pretty solid 3-part fold. Sizing: spot on with my Gobi IIs. I measured my foot and matched it to the size guide, and it was the correct size.
