About this deal

This is made possible by the awesome support of the folks from Corsair, who provided a lot of the components used here. Their support is much appreciated! Of course there's gonna be a ton of Corsair in here because that's just how I roll. None of y'all are going to be surprised by that in the least.

You WILL be able to mount fans in the side. You could also mount a 240mm radiator in the side on the 2 top mounting spots. On the front, you could do 240mm or 280mm. If you do a 280mm, you can't do a side radiator. You'll use the PWM hub for at least 3 of the fans on a radiator, possibly all 6. Those will be controlled from a single port on the Commander Core XT. The HydroX Thermal sensor can go to the CoCoXT (from the XD7 - it comes with the sensor) as well as a single temp sensor for the case exhaust temperature. These would then be your two control variables for your fans. Oh ... and you'd only have to use the USB connector for the Commander Core XT - so only one motherboard USB header. The USB connector for the Lighting Node Pro will connect to the end of the USB connector for the CoCoXT. This is one of the coolest aspects of the CoCoXT.

LA BASE DE TODO EL CONJUNTO

This new case lineup is our best yet and we can’t wait to see what builds you’ll make with them! For those still deciding which case to go with, here are some final notes that may help: Three-Slot Vertical GPU Mount: Put the spotlight on your graphics card with a vertical mount on the PSU shroud, big The Commander Core will control the case airflow fans - these will be the 4 QL-RGB fans on the size and a 5th QL-RGB fan in the rear. I may use the SP-RGB Elite that came with the case in the rear instead (I've not made a final decision on that yet). Since the 4000X, 5000X and 7000X lines offer tempered glass front panels, they also come with CORSAIR SP RGB Elite AirGuide fans in the box whereas the 4000D, 5000D, and 7000D lines will come with non-RGB AirGuide fans. The 7000 Series comes equipped with 140mm fans and the 4000/5000 Series come with 120mm fans. In the larger 5000 and 7000 Series cases, you’ll also find a PWM repeater to help manage cooling. I am planning on mounting stuff in the sides - absolutely! Just right now, I'm still doing fit and stuff for the FAQ.

All the Storage You Need: Fits a multitude of drives thanks to 6x combo 2.5in / 3.5in drive trays and 4x 2.5in SSD

Colossal Cooling Potential: A massive interior accommodates up to 12x 120mm or 7x 140mm cooling fans, and makes it possible to install multiple radiators including 3x simultaneous 360mm or 2x simultaneous 420mm for extreme cooling.

The user manual doesn't claim support for side and front radiators installed together, but it might not account for such thin ones. it possible to install multiple radiators including 3x simultaneous 360mm or 2x simultaneous 420mm for extreme All the Storage You Need: Fits a multitude of drives thanks to 6x combo 2.5in / 3.5in drive trays and 4x 2.5in SSD mounts. The Commander Pro controls the two RGB Fan LED Hubs for the QL-RGB fans that are on the radiators using a Fan Hub splitter. Both sets of six will be synchronized with the inner fans being a reversed image of the outer fans. I'm hoping that this will look pretty cool with some of the channel effects. For convenience, we’ve put together the following comparison charts for reference: X-variant case comparisons D-variant case comparisons It’s All in the Name You won't be able to use either of the covers for the front section so it won't look quite as 'finished' or 'polished'. I do really wish Corsair would do a better mount for 3.5" drives but that's what it is. I'm using the new Album feature for the FAQ; comments are enabled for each photo so you can ask questions there or here. It's best to view the Album by Caption.
