About this deal

The easiest introduction to the world of wireless systems, WL-20 consists of a bug style transmitter and corresponding receiver, with a nominal operating range of 15m. A WL-20 system is literally as simple to use as a standard guitar cable. The small transmitter plugs into your instrument, while a matching receiver plugs into a pedal or amp. That’s it! Automatic Wireless Setup Latency was super important for me and this is really the part I value most: latency is super small and not audible even for fast soloing or metal riffs. It really feels as responsive as being connected with guitar cables.

Cable tone simulation reproduces the natural capacitive effect of a 10-foot/3-meter guitar cable (WL-20 model only) With cable tone in the OFF position, the WL-50 is suitable for use low impedance sources such as guitars with active preamps. This is the same as the WL-20L.Design wise I was afraid the units were going to be a bit bulky. They are not super small but they don't sit in the way on my Gibson Flying V. In no event shall Roland Corporation be liable to end-users for any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to financial damages for any loss of profits or information arising from the use of, or inability to use this updater. Charging is done with a micro usb cord to a 5v adapter (not supplied but you usually have those lying around).WL-20 also features built-in cable tone emulation, which reproduces the tone of using a 10 foot guitar cable. These are generally excellent. They are well constructed from good materials and look like they will last. In use, they are quiet and transparent. The only time I have experienced drop-outs was then the receiver was right beside a Wifi device (a smart plug). Other than that, they are perfect. I haven't tested the limits of their range. Supplied from the DC IN 5 V port Current Draw 350mA Battery charging time Approximately 3 hours Expected battery life under continuous use Approximately 12 hours Have you always dreamed about going wireless with your instrument, but were put off by the complicated setup, tone loss, and bulky adds-ons? If so, the WL-20 series is for you! Driven by new lightning-fast BOSS tech, these ultra-compact music tools deliver premium sound and plug-and-play operation that completely eliminates all the hassles normally associated with wireless systems. c) If this SOFTWARE contains multiple templates of media (such as floppy disks and CD-ROM) and these media contain the same software, you may use only the one form of media that is appropriate for your computer. Combining innovative technology to meet the demands of today's performing and recording musicians, with trademark Boss reliability, the WL-20L offers the ultimate solution for cable-free performance for performers who play instruments where cable capacitance has little-to-no effect on tone (such as an electro acoustic guitar, with an onboard preamp). Boss WL20L Key Features: This can be an issue with low-end digital wireless units, which typically only have 3-4 channels to choose from. If these channels happen to be very heavily in use, then you may experience severe dropouts and interference when you least expect it.You can use any of the three (the WL-20, WL-20L, or WL-50), but we recommend the WL-50, which lets you switch the CABLE TONE feature.
