About this deal

Her friendship with Spectra Vondergeist has so far only been brought up in her profile and is not explained. An estimated basis for their friendship is that since they are both reclusive, if for differing reasons, Twyla finds a kindred spirit in Spectra. Twyla looks quite different than pictured. In person, my overall impression of Twyla is that she is less cutesy and has more of an intense/forlorn presentation that is appropriate for a monster like her: The Daughter of the Boogey Man. Twyla is all moonlight and shadows - her main colorways are a waxy mint green and her favorite color burple (which according to her is blue mixed with purple). Twyla's skin is a very light purple which gradually changes to smoky gray on her forearms and hands. She has silvery smoke patterns that start at her ankles and reach up her calves. Twyla has purply-pink eyes, frosty pink lips and cute little dimples at the edge of her mouth. I love her bright mint green eyebrows and her long soft minty green hair with burple streaks. As others have mentioned, a fun thing about Twyla is that the whites of her eyes glow in the dark! (I thought her hair might glow as well, but sadly, no.) Now, onto the pièce de résistance – Dustin, the pet bunny. Forget about traditional pets; we're talking about a bunny with an attitude, a bunny that probably has secret meetings with the Cheshire Cat and the Easter Bunny to discuss world domination. Dustin is not just a pet; he's a fluffy accomplice in the grand scheme of fashion villainy.

Twyla's father is the Boogey Man. Little is known about their relationship other than it's similar to a regular father-daughter relationship; however, it is implied that she does have a strained relationship with him, as she is very displeased by his nightmare-inducing traditions and therefore settles to undo them. It is unknown how her father feels about it or if he even knows. Twyla is the daughter of The Boogey Man and is 15 years old. Unlike her Dad, Twyla captures the nightmares to eat so that only the good sweet dreams get through to the 'normies'. She can become invisible and prefers to sit in the shadows which can also help her move from location to location. She is very shy but is friends with Howleen Wolf, Gigi Grant and Spectra Vondergeist. Monster High™ Creepover Party™ dolls feature a detailed outfit and sleepover accessories themed to their unique scaritage, as well as a pet figure! I gave this doll 5 stars in "Educational" because this line of dolls really teaches you that it's okay to stand out and be different, or as the Monster High motto says, "Be yourself, be unique, be a monster." The only confusing thing was that on the box, it says a different age than her diary does. I think it's just a typo, though.

Here are some hopefully handy links to some of the other 13 wishes dolls along with the DVD just in case they come in handy for someone:- However, she is extremely selfless and kind, to the point where one of her regular days involves undoing her father's doings of giving sleeping children nightmares by feeding on the negative energy projected by these, removing the nightmares from their dreams. Twyla will do this to children in most need to top it off, such as kids in foster homes.

All the creepover essentials are included: a sleeping mask to make things nice and dark, a to-go teacup, iCoffin phone, frightened pastry strudel, and Intro to Talismans library book. In her 13 Wishes diary, Twyla refers to herself as "bad" and "terrible". It's unclear what brought her to this conclusion, as they don't appear to be solely caused by immediate events. Despite being shy, she can sometimes be friendly if she wants to be, such as towards Howleen, or greeting Cleo and being kind to her when believing her to be a new girl. 13 Wishes Appearance [ ] Twyla's best friends are Howleen Wolf and Spectra Vondergeist. Howleen was the first student at Monster High who caught her off-guard, because Twyla thought she was invisible in the shadows, but as a werewolf, Howleen could smell her presence. Twyla chose not to flee that time and so befriended Howleen. Since then the two have been the closest of friends, and are almost inseparable. But here's where the real magic happens – the sleepover theme. This set is not just a doll and her bunny; it's an invitation to a party of monstrously epic proportions. Twyla knows how to throw a creepover that would make even the boogeyman jealous. It's like a slumber party where the guest list includes werewolves, vampires, and probably a friendly ghost or two.She is also quite close to Gigi Grant, the genie, who she helped with her issues regarding her rebellious shadow Djinni Grant, and who has always been there for her. Gigi is a great friend of Howleen, who brought the two together. In fact, Twyla's shyness means that most of her relationships are induced by her best friend. As I have said above a really good quality doll especially when compared with some of the more 'basic' models in the Monster High range. Now I just need to hope that my second baby that is due this month is a girl and that Monster High is still 'in' when she is older so I can play with the dolls and sets myself! Turn off the lights to discover three accessories that glow in the dark! Mix-and-match them with the other included styling pieces to create outfits that will light up even the darkest of nights.
