About this deal

If you could sum up Morningwood: Everybody Loves Large Chests (Vol.1) in three words, what would they be? Awesomeness by Analysis: Keira's fight against Bernard Samson, where she dissects the massive flaws in his fighting style and equipment while outclassing him in their battle. Her analysis causes Keira to not even get hit once by the Hero of Justice. Kryptonite Factor: It's weak to acid due to being a changeling, unlike the electricity that Mimics are weak to. Hive Mind: Overlord Liusolra of the Endless Swarm is actually comprised of thousands of tiny spiders that combine together to make a gigantic half-human half-spider monster.

Boxxy winds up losing its life to another changeling, named Wardrobzilla, who ensnared it by looking like a ridiculously easy target. So Proud of You: What he values most are the people who can really shake things up, and when they deliver he's positively beaming. He also holds this attitude toward Demons as a whole, as besides being his "children," their popping into existence at all was a completely accidental and unforeseen byproduct of what The Beyond's intended purpose was. This caught him completely off guard and he's never really gotten over his elation with the event. Cool Old Guy: An Ascendant, like all the members of his adventuring group. Which means he can curb stomp anyone bellow level 100. Naughty Tentacles: Boxxy uses its tentacles to keep Xera and Valeria happy, though it cares little for the act itself. Multi-Armed and Dangerous: One of the first things Boxxy learns is how create and manipulate multiple tentacles in combat.

Narcissist: Due to golems instinctively considering themselves the most beautiful being around, Fizzy becomes an unapologetic egomaniac who regards herself as superior to "meatbags". Her quasi-romantic relationship with Boxxy is mainly due to it being able to admire her down to her very core and keep her clean, and the only ones she works closely with and completely trust are copies of herself. Honestly. though. The characters are unique in their own ways, which is great. It doesn't have 5 year olds speaking university graduate in english speaking english. in the title we have a truth that is misunderstood, in the prolouge we have a chrushing of evpectations and from there on out, (sigh) it abandons this idea, which is sad, not to say this is not an enjoyable read (for it is) but simply that like alot of this book it had so many avenues but instead followed the one ahead of it. De-power: Zone gets her Angel Status forcibly torn from her after clearing the War God's dungeon, as Axel is infuriated that a bloodthirsty woman like her dares to call herself one of his honorable worshippers and had the gall to eye his Divine weapon.Trauma Conga Line: Lost her parents, was casually betrayed by the city and nation she adopted, spent weeks being trained by a monster who could decide to kill her at any moment, was forced to become the paladin of a god she had never heard about and, finally, got raped. It's no wonder the poor girl broke. Horror Hunger: As a mimic, Boxxy is hardwired to find humans tasty and to consider other sentient races varying degrees of tastiness. While it can devour food just fine, it prefers to consume people and will become ravenous in a relatively short span of time. Heel–Face Turn: In a moment of weakness after her failed attempt at the Temple of the First Crusader, Boxxy offers to let her join up with it and its merry band of killers. Having just lost her wings (figuratively and literally), she mutely accepts the offer.

Rape as Drama: After her unit is captured by human soldiers, Keira is taken away. She manages to escape and return to save the other prisoners, but they notice she isn't wearing the bottom part of her underclothes. When questioned about it Keira responds in an aggressive manner that nothing happened. Her colleagues think that she was raped, when in fact Boxxy switched places with Xera (who drained the would-be rapist to death) and proceeded with its own plans. The Beastmaster: Her secondary class. Largely incompatible with her main class, and she only takes it to... enable her hobbies. Combat by Champion: The war between the Ishgar Republic and the Empire ends after the Hero of the Chaos defeats the Hero of the Hammer. an interesting consept yes and if nothing else i would advise you read the first ten or so chapters, up untell the destruction of that one town, the first one what ever it is/was called, up to that point we have a creature that is barely above average intellegence for a mimic, which is to say none. And so you get the interesting adventures of a monster in a lit-rpgish world that ironicaly fails to do in naritive what it does so well conseptually, subvert expectations: Later, when it realizes that Fizzy had left it for good after it died, it completely understands their reasoning in doing what they had done, including pilfering a small fortune of its treasure stores on the way out. However, Boxxy is considerably irritated that they took so little of its treasure when they had the perfect opportunity to rob it blind!Non-Mammal Mammaries: Boxxy notices the suspicious number of monsters with outrageously large boobs, including his arachnoid familiar and other creatures with no sex organs. Buxom Beauty Standard: Boxxy prefers women with large chests. Not for the reason you think, since it initially doesn't understand that "large chest" when referring to women meant their breast size; Boxxy thought that they had a large treasure chest or something. Consummate Professional: Takes pride in his work as a Demons 'R' Us operator, to the point where he will apologize for administrative errors on their end.

Grammar? I find all of this authors stories have perfect grammar, sure, the odd missing letter or "is" swapped with "si", but that's normally fixed fast as exterm reads the comments and perfect's his work. But i was interested, the progression system, is really attractive, i loved it so much, The MC is close to Overpowered, which again i liked in this case because of it's humble beginnings. However, such things get hopelessly derailed when his adolescent mind beholds an exposed chest for the first time. A fateful meeting that would inevitably lead his life in a direction he never even dreamed of!Morality Chain: Pedro admits to Kora while they're rehabilitating Theresa that he considers the Goddess of Justice to be his moral anchor, since she keeps him honest and is someone to compete with. The Paladin: Gets dumped with the job representing The God of Chaos, quite against her will, because Boxxy needed someone who could do holy stuff against the undead they were about to face. She later gets into it more enthusiastically.
