I have been an audiophile for 38 years and I know for a fact that a price tag in and of itself has no effect on the transfer function of an audio signal. It's ridiculous to think otherwise. despite my mere 38 years in the hobby I am confident that 2 years from now I will still know that price tags do not affect transfer functions of audio signals.
