The JBL subwoofer system’s built-in amplifier is optimized to work as a system with the woofer. Its Class D design runs cooler and draws less current from your vehicles electrical system making it the perfect concealed subwoofer solution. As well as testing and our experience, we also based our recommendations upon plenty of research and a number of factors. Some of the factors that we took into consideration included their performance (peak power and RMS), size, construction, remote control, supplied hardware, warranty and value for money. The JBL Bass Pro Go does not support the JBL Portable App and is not compatible with JBL Party Mode or JBL Connect+.
After plenty of research, testing and using a number of underseat subwoofers (the above photo is my Kenwood KSC model), we’ve gained plenty of experience with these speakers. Best Underseat Subwoofer Overview Gain: Provides 3 different Gain settings when installed in a vehicle: 2V, 4V, and 6V, and can be used with both High-level and Line-level inputs. Power: Lights solid white when unit is On in Subwoofer mode, green in Full-Range mode, yellow in Settings mode, and red if in Protect mode. The Power button will flash white when pairing to a second Bass Pro Go via JBL Connect feature, and lights solid blue when connected to a second Bass Pro Go. The JBL Bass Pro Go does not include any vehicle-installation wiring. A 10-gauge amp wiring kit will be required and is sold separately. Mounts in your car In terms of the installations of both, they were relatively straightforward but each time, we removed the car’s seat. However, it’s worth pointing out that this isn’t always necessary but it does make the installation go far more smoothly. With regards to the JBL BassPro Nano installation, the space we had available was minimal but thanks to the ultra-compact design, it fitted perfectly and it made a huge difference to the bass in the car.

The battery gets recharged while connected to vehicle power and takes approximately 4 hrs. to fully charge.
Support
Gain control adjusts the volume level right from the drivers seat. Phase switch changes the input phase to inverted or noninverted. (This can sometimes be helpful for troubleshooting.) Crossover frequency control adjusts the crossover frequency to any point between 50Hz and 150Hz. Bass EQ control provides 12dB of boost.
