About this deal

Brubaker, Ed( w),McDaniel, Scott( p), Owens, Andy( i)."The Scene of the Crime" Batman,no.600(April 2002). Morrison, Grant( w), Jones, J. G.; Pacheco, Carlos; Mahnke, Doug( p), Rudy, Marco; Alamy, Christian; Merino, Jesus( i)."How to Murder the Earth" Final Crisis,no.6(January 2009). Once Robin joins the crusade after Tec’ 38, the stories although still good don’t have the same thrilling feeling I got reading through Tec’ 27 to 37. It’s really fascinating seeing how Catwoman and Joker came to be. Joker is a psychopathic murderous thief who taunts the authority by planning his crimes in advance in very clever ways. I genuinely found this Joker to be scary, and I can see why Golden Age Joker in Three Jokers would be the mastermind in the story. This Joker on occasion disguises himself as a way to advance his plans and this was how he hid his presence. Like poisoning Judge Drake while disguised as the Police Chief.

Bruces years of civic volunteerism results in him being named to replace the retiring James Gordon as Police Commissioner. In this capacity, Wayne is soon mind-controlled by the Psycho Pirate. Resulting in his declaring the current roster of the Justice Society of America to be outlaws and he attempts to arrest them. Once freed from the Psycho Pirate's control, Wayne clears the JSA of all trumped-up charges. [33] Adventure Comics #462 (1979), featuring the death of Batman. Verified by Sprang at Batman #18 (Aug.-Sept. 1943) and Detective Comics #84 (Feb. 1944) at the Grand Comics Database Batman becomes addicted to venom, the same substance that gives Bane his strength. A harrowing look at addiction through the eyes of one of the most dangerous men in the DC universe. Cowsill "2000s" in Dolan, p. 333: "Writer Grant Morrison and artist Tony Daniel's run on Batman reached its climax with the story arc 'R.I.P.'...with the apparent death of Batman."

Norm Breyfogle became a cover artist for the main Batman title with issue #450, in " The Return of the Joker" storyline, a sequel to " A Death in the Family". Writer Alan Grant transferred from Detective Comics to the main Batman title with issue #455 (October 1990). Their first story arc together, with Breyfogle as both cover and interior artist, was "Identity Crisis". [59] The story followed directly from their final arc on Detective Comics, "Rite of Passage." [60] The three-issue "Identity Crisis" culminated in Tim Drake officially becoming the new Robin, with a redesigned costume, in issue #457 (December 1990). Breyfogle later pointed out that " Neal Adams was the one who designed the costume. The 'R' symbol and the staff were all that was really mine." [61] [62] Tim Drake then starred in the five-issue miniseries Robin [63] before returning in Batman #465 (Late July 1991) for the story "Debut", depicting the new Batman and Robin team's first official mission together. Grant left the main Batman title with issue #480 (Late June 1992) for his own ongoing Batman title, Batman: Shadow of the Bat, where he was again initially partnered with Breyfogle. These are crossovers that include most—if not all—of the Batman-related titles published at the time. Reeves's take on Batman is just great, he gives us a look into Batman's abilities as detective and fighting against Gotham's crimes. It's also quite possibly the best representation of Gotham City that I've ever seen on DC film. It show us a city completely filled with corruption and crime. My main problems with film is how long the third act feels, I wasn't a fan of what happens after a revelation of The Riddler. I understand why they did it but I feel that it was way to long and unnecessary. Grant Morrison temporarily returned to the Batman title for issues #700-702.
