The Fitbit Sense series helps you focus on an entirely different part of your body: the inside, as in your emotional state and well-being. With a powerful EDA sensor, the Fitbit Sense monitors your stress levels throughout the day and offers suggestions on when to take a break and catch your breath. Since Fitbit Sense is an excellent exercise companion, our selection of bands and accessories for your Fitbit reflect that - but we also want it to reflect you. Daily Readiness Score requires a Fitbit Premium membership. Premium content recommendations are not available in all locales and may be in English only. Like most Fitbits, the Sense is supplied with two bands to fit a range of wrist sizes. The smaller band fits wrists 5.5-7.1 inches in circumference, while the larger one fits wrists 7.1-8.7 inches in circumference. Not a bad price, and the extra features that come with the app are quite handy. Although I have been using a different food diary type app, before getting the Sense 2, it was too much effort to put the information in to two apps and found the other to be much easier to find foods and to add them. Sleep analysisThe watch has a simple but functional display showing three stats at once. Tap the middle one to rotate through your choice of time, distance, pace, heart rate, calories steps, laps and active minutes. The sleep analysis showed this, with a very patchy night of sleep at best yet still it gave a high score and a rating of good. Even a night of under 6 hours was given a rating of rating of good, when the wearer felt like crap. The Fitbit Sense is a solid smartwatch with a good screen, a relatively slim design, two day-plus battery life, solid Google Assistant or Alexa integration and simple smartphone alerts.

A watch strap for business purposes

To run a scan, make sure you have the Sense secured well so that it can record your heart rate accurately, then swipe left, select ‘EDA scan’ and place your free hand over its face for two minutes. You’ll feel a gentle vibration when the scan begins and another when it’s completed. The fewer EDA responses the watch records, the calmer you (probably) are. You can’t talk about said watch faces without bringing up the biggest disappointment with the Fitbit Sense 2. While the first Sense had access to the App Gallery for adding additional features and watch faces to your wearable, this has been taken away from both the Sense 2 and Versa 4 with no explanation. Once you've finished, your maps are visible in the Fitbit app straight away, and you can connect your Fitbit account to Strava so they are synced automatically. You don’t have to look hard to figure out why it’s so wrong. Take a look at the route it thought I took, bearing in mind these are streets with houses on either side. It’s comically bad.
