The glass print bed of the Ender 3 V2 is not flexible but offers excellent print bed adhesion for most materials. Idle power draw is around 10W. Considering the screen type, you could have a lot more Marlin features enabled, like the filament change I previously mentioned. In other places, there is inconsistent extrusion and I blame this on the high pressure which builds up in the hotend. I tried again, with the nozzle a bit closer to the bed, and managed to print it successfully. There’s a bit of stringing present, some inconsistent layers and even a bit of curling in the front bow, caused by the insufficient part cooling. Important: The standoffs for the touch screen have small gaps - so please insert some pieces of foam between the standoffs and the touch screen.The stable design of the cantilever X-axis guarantees low-vibration movement and thus delivers high accuracy. With a single Z-axis lead screw that moves an X-axis carriage (where the printhead moves side-to-side) up and down. The stepper motors move the individual axes via the toothed belts. The toothed belts must be correctly tensioned so that they cannot slip or tear. With many low-budget 3D printers, the adjustment of the toothed belt tension is often very laborious and only possible with tools. The magnetic, flexible and removable print bed of the Ender 2 Pro is extremely convenient to use, as it greatly simplifies the removal of print objects. After printing, you simply remove the print bed, bend it, and the print object comes off as if by itself. For very filigree first layers, I had to help out a bit with Magigoo. I missed the extruder wheel that comes with the Ender 3 V2 for example. With this wheel, you can load or unload the filament much easier manually. Fortunately, there are already capable designers who have uploaded a self-printable extruder wheel on Thingiverse ( link to the object). I printed it in a bright dark red to match the rest of the 3D printer’s design. Resume Print Function The Z-axis is not only mounted from below on the 3D printer base, it is also prevented from vibrating laterally in the X-direction. This design definitely provides more stabilization than comparable 3D printers with cantilever X-axes. Do NOT use very deep paths. The Resume Print feature allows the 3D printer to resume printing exactly where it was interrupted by the power outage. MENU: The Ender 2 Pro is very easy to operate. The LCD screen is very easy to operate with the rotary knob. A nice big touchscreen would of course be better, but would also drive up the price. For the functions it has, the existing LCD screen is absolutely sufficient.
