I think these could easily be recreated by LEGO's professional builders.

The assembled Love Bird set is very adorable. The birds are mounted on 2×2 turntables, allowing for a limited amount of posing. But no matter which way you turn them, they still feel like they’re having a great time together. Note that I changed the orientation of the lower bird to make their beaks touch, which I think looks much better. As you can se, both birds are identical, with variances in the colour. I’m not an expert on birds, so I’m not sure if the colours are supposed to denote their sex.
