About this deal

The footpads represent a considerable improvement upon past designs, perfectly recreating their onscreen shape and including blades for slicing through light fortifications. This Hoth AT-ST seems like its only function is to be an accessory to 75313, as this design only appears in a short clip during the battle of Hoth, and is really just a beta version awaiting the finalisation of the vehicle in Ep VI. All of this brings me to the legs and feet… which are the strangest mix of best and worst of the set.

Whether that means others photos of the same set from different years or maybe including the set alongside other sets currently available in the theme, like including the AT-ST and the two battle packs. Four numbered bags contain the 586 pieces needed to construct the walker and Imperial probe droid, which although a small side-build has seen a huge overhaul since its last appearance – this is by far the most accurate and detailed minifigure scale probe droid that we’ve ever seen within the Star Wars theme. It feels like there is more play value to be had with this set and even the small piece of landscape that comes with the Probe Droid will surely spark younger fans’ imaginations into recreating some epic Hoth based battles. The inclusion of the Probe Droid helps that, I think—between those three sets almost every character, vehicle, and weapon involved in the Imperial siege on Hoth is represented.Disappointedly, though, it’s also a real surprise to find the legs yet again don’t actually ‘walk’ and so this model, like all previous recent versions of the AT-ST, can’t really be played with properly. I know certain spares are normal and there isn’t any large pieces spare here but it just seems like a lot. His helmet has the same printing that we’ve seen before but his facial print is new, consisting of one angry expression and on the reverse a much more light-hearted look, which if we are to be honest doesn’t really suit a member of the Imperial army, but it is nice to have the option regardless. Using some kind of standardised phrasing and structure for the summary comment would quickly become repetitive, especially with the positive and negative attributes displayed below. The later design has undoubtedly become the most recognisable version of the AT-ST, but I am delighted that LEGO chose to portray the lesser-known walker on this occasion.

It is a model of the AT-ST from the Battle of Hoth and includes Chewbacca , Hoth AT-ST Pilot and Hoth Rebel Trooper. However, the dial to control the rotation of the cockpit is extremely familiar, originating during 2007 with 7657 AT-ST. Also, the LEGO Building Instructions app offers easy zoom and rotate viewing tools to make the experience even more enjoyable. I'm in what looks to be a permanent dark age, but I still enjoy writing about the stuff related to our site, even if not LEGO itself.

It’s cool to get a Hoth Trooper with a female face and different skin tone recycled from a Eternals set no one wanted… but it’s just a combination of different parts.

After all, targeting total accuracy for minifigures would require a size approximating the rendition from 8038 The Battle of Endor.
