About this deal

There is depth to this mystery as well. Silas and Charlie’s father previously worked together and there are some questions to be answered about the state of their current business relationship. My stalking ventures have already commenced but so far I haven’t seen any teasers yet for the second and final book of this series. Oh I also totally guessed which author wrote which character I think friends will easily appreciate both author’s touches and join me in counting down the days till May 18th!!

We begin to see this book turn into more of a mystery/thriller in Part 2. Charlie is not only missing after a night out with Silas at the end of Part 1, but the chapters narrated by her are chilling as they depict her in an institutional setting, being fed unknown medications by a nurse of few words.

But other than that, every other thing in the story is either a surprise or a mystery and I was gripped from the beginning till the end that I read the entire story for less than two hours. This had a really interesting premise, if not so much of a great execution. Two teenagers who seem to have forgotten all of their memories must work together to find out how their pasts are connected and how to regain what's been lost. There's a lot of secrets and lies, family drama and broken promises. I will not tell you much about this, because in this kind of books, the more blind you go in, the better. So let me tell you my reaction during pretty much the whole length of this book: But it is highly stressed that the 'present' Silas & Charlie are very different to who they were in their 'past life'. They both despise that they cheated. Silas comes across as more emotional about it, he hates the guy Charlie cheated with instantly, and he's much more remorseful over his cheating. He is disgusted with himself and is already starting to love Charlie, he can't believe he would ever do such a thing. Charlie almost feels relieved that she wasn't the only one to cheat, she has been hating who she discovers she was. I’m invested enough to want to know how this mess ends… but the last installment better be really the last or else I may change my opinion.

Never Never is a three-part series she co-authored with Tarryn Fisher and published in three separate parts in 2015 and 2016. It was re-released as one book with three parts in 2023. Because of these unique characteristics, you may have questions about Never Never. This post will answer them! Then there is Charlie. Once again, it didn’t surprise me that Tarryn wrote her. She has that snarky kind of humor that Tarryn does so well. What I can tell you...the only thing I will tell you...is that you need to remember what it is that someone so desperately wanted you to forget. The Number One Sunday Times bestselling author of It Ends with Us joins forces with the New York Times bestselling author of The Wives for a gripping, twisty, romantic mystery unlike any other. I like this book. It's simple and easy to follow. But you can only handle so much teasing before you explode and go crazy.

Now I can't wait to read the second part, and the cover just freaks me out! Where is the other hand?! Why is it tinted with red?! I hope we get a Colleenesque ending to these books, because if they went with Tarryn's way, I'M EXPECTING THE WORST!This book is for you if… you enjoy young adult fantasy with a lot of bitter-sweet romance, a cute male main character and a strong lead heroine. This book may be for you even if you didn't appreciate other Colleen Hoover books. the story doesnt feel like it was written by either author and then im just confused. lol. with this story, im finding myself in the last scenario. im confused, i have no idea what either author was thinking when they wrote this or why they both approved of it (especially part three), but wow. this is pretty meh. not great, n My main problem is such a story would have been so much more appropriate if the MCs weren’t in high school. It greatly bothered me that cheating and sleeping around with the guidance counselor, no less! MY GOODNESS! would be ordinary occurrences. I think this is the main thing that ruined the story- the choice of characters.

Terza parte: Confusa, turbata, scombussolata. Ne sono rimasta insoddisfatta e mi sono ritrovata a fine libro con tantissime domande ma troppe poche risposte. Ci sono rimasta male, ma non posso spingermi oltre per evitare spoiler. Charlie and Silas are in high school. Apparently they’re popular and they’re boyfriend and girlfriend. They also can’t remember a thing. Not about who they are, who their family and friends are, who each other are. Nothing. Forgetting is scary. Remembering may be as equally terrifying. All they know is that they are in this together. They are connected. They forgot together, now they’ll try to remember together. I did like the main characters very much and felt their emotion was raw and that their connection was very real, and for that I commend Hoover and Fisher for their excellent description. Hoover and Fisher have combined their unique talents to deliver a deliciously twisted tale of deceit, love and friendship that keeps you guessing long after the heart-stopping end.

I could literally do this gif over and over...and over! Every time I thought I had something figured out, nope - see gif! ;) One thing I must mention is that the flow is so seamless! I really tried to pay attention and see if I could figure out who was writing what but I just got too wrapped up in the story...for the most part. There were times I was certain this had to be TF and other times, it had to be CoHo but in the end, it didn't really matter because it just worked. What I found interesting about Part 2 is that the main characters are losing their memories for the second time, but the supporting characters are still in the current time. This means that to the other characters, Silas in particular appears mentally unstable. He forgets how to play football… twice. He forgets his name… twice. He’s meeting his younger brother… twice. To the outside world, however, this is just making Silas look more and more unhinged.
