Trialling each set of pads on a full face of make-up – foundation, concealer, mascara and more – they tested to see how each one fared at removing all residue. Their single-use counterparts are not just wasteful, but require cotton grown on a massive scale, needing pesticides, fertiliser and large quantities of water.
To get these pads to work most effectively, we’d recommend pairing them with a cleanser, as, although they claim to work with just warm water, they proved to cleanse much more deeply with a little helping hand. All were tested alone with water first, and then secondly with a cleanser or micellar water to see which gained the best results.Don’t worry if the stain is not completely gone, the pads will still function perfectly and the natural properties of vinegar will also make them softer!
