it’s very hard and almost impossible to explain my feelings about this series tbh, but if you’ve read it and you love it, you probably know what i mean.To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. even more as those moments felt like they had shown more growth and things seemed to finally be working out but then boom things reverted back. LORD i still cannot for the life of me figure out why any/all the guys fall for her because she is so bratty. i do defend her on this though, because she was having second thoughts only because of her own insecurities.

Raised by her older brother Julian since their parents were murdered, Daisy has never been able to escape the watchful gaze of her gang-lord brother. after that ending to dh, i went in fully expecting to hate him but i also felt for him so much in this because he also became one of those people just craving magnolia’s favor and it was kinda painfully funny and sad at the same time for me lmao. my heart cracks open a bit with how much i love him, like daylight breaking through a boarded up window. I equally loved and hated the angst here and I do have to say that If you thought the last book was a rollercoaster of emotions get ready because this book tops it by x100. how do you snuggle up in bed knowing you broke OUR HEARTS 💔 i’ll never be the same, a day will never go by without me thinking about this entire book.I started therapy to get her back, wanting to grow into the kind of person she’d want to be with, be good enough, be the sort of person worthy of a girl like Parks.
