The results from Anvil’s Storage Utilities confirms the drive to be a very average SATA SSD, although again, these tests only use a limited amount of the capacity, thus hiding the nasty behaviour of the SSD once it fills up. In the meantime, I’ll see if I have time to give some of those tools a whirl – at the moment, I’m collecting some experimental data to the drive, so I’m going to have to wait until I can afford some data destruction.
