About this deal

Again, on any other day, I would probably throw up my hands and walk off, enjoy bursting Ren's idyllic bubble by telling him that I'd appreciate it if he asked his best friend to cough up my panties the next time he sees him. This also made me wanna reread both FreyaAiden's as well as RenFrankie's books; and I cannot WAIT for Viggo's! Unsurprisingly, Chloe Liese nails the LGBTQ+ representation and creates an inclusive and realistic experience.

THE ONE I'LL ALWAYS HUG CLOSE TO MY HEART AND LEAN ON FOR COMFORT, PURE HAPPINESS, SAFETY, WARMTH, THAT SENSE OF BELONGINGNESS AND THE GLOWING HOPE AND SAFETY OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. So I propose a fake friendship with real benefits- spending time in the public eye, my good-girl image and his bad-boy notoriety rubbing off on each other. Much of the book seemed to drag on and on; meanwhile, the ending was extremely rushed and unsatisfying.

Their thoughts and acts were always orbiting to one another, noticing every detail even the insignificant ones and in how they always were aware of the mood’s shifts of each other, how their relationship was mined by disinterested acts and word of affirmation was the most precious part of the storyline. There’s just something about a hero who finds himself unsaveable or unworthy of the heroine and Sebastian was just that. A ella se le ocurre un plan, fingir una amistad con Sebastian para manchar un poquito su reputación de niña buena y Seb gana una restauración de imagen o el plan es un win/win. But I am selfish and greedy, and I want this moment to know that even in all my undeserving, I can give her this.

Es un slow burn muy bonito, no soy tan fan, pero me gustó mucho el desarrollo de la relación y de la amistad como ella esperó a que él estuviera listo a pesar de que ella tiene poca paciencia y siempre va con todo por lo que quiere pero sabe que no lo puede presionar y que necesita crecer y sanar ciertas heridas. this book follows the youngest of the bergman clan, ziggy, and honestly this book was one of my highest anticipated reads of the year! And speaking of them, I love Ollie and Viggo, I love their relationship with their sister and how supportive they are, really. Readers may also appreciate this wasn’t a stereotypical third act break-up as I’m personally not a fan of that plot point. And also why I continue to be baffled that my second-oldest brother, Ren, the sweetest, most tenderhearted man, could be bonded to him so deeply. now i need my mans viggo’s book because there was a specific scene at the end that literally had me shedding tears?

So, yeah, Chloe Liese has become an auto-read author for me, and I can’t wait to read Viggo’s story and the second Wilmot sister book. Now, there are some very mild spoilers ahead, so I'll hide them just in case you want to go into this book completely blind as well. That’s how I’ve felt so often lately, like I’m on the cusp of telling a lot of people a lot of things that are long overdue, but the truth is a knot in my throat that I can’t untangle, the force to tug it free something I can’t yet find inside myself. Having read all the other Bergman Brothers books, I appreciated that the rest of the Bergmans made regular appearances throughout the book, and I enjoyed getting to see how the Bergmans’ relationships have grown and changed.
