The savant- offers authentic style inspired by the world of racing and performance, with sumptuous, comfortable ergonomics ready to go the distance. He’s been riding gravel since before gravel bikes existed too, riding a cyclocross bike through the Chilterns and along the South Downs. With 2 years of development behind it the Roc-Loc 5 - as found on Giro's top-of-the line Aeon helmet - is now available for the performance cyclist in the form of the Giro Savant.

Wind Tunnel ventilation system: 25 apertures that provide a wind tunnel tested channelled ventilation system (exclusive to Giro). The Savant has 25 decent sized vents, with internal channels connecting forward facing intakes to decent sized exhaust vents, guiding air over the head.Considering that the Savant most closely compares to aero and semi aero helmets in ventilation and is not aerodynamic in any way says something about the design.
