About this deal

Details about the makeup and the stunts are covered as well as most predominantly the series’s considerable problems with the MPAA, which resulted in the usually abrupt kills, a series trait that Green and Lynch also debate at rather considerable length in their commentary.

Each disc receives its own page, and the book is filled with color photos and blurbs about the films. There's little narrative or production backstory fans of the series don't already know, and ranking each of the twelve films from best to worst has become a rite of passage for Friday the 13th devotees. Voorhees (2:46/HD); Slashed Scenes (6:06/HD); and the film's Original Theatrical Teaser Trailer (1:43/SD). Score: Cast: Betsy Palmer, Adrienne King, Kevin Bacon, Amy Steel, John Furey, Dana Kimmell, Richard Brooker, Corey Feldman, Crispin Glover, John Shepherd, Thom Mathews, David Kagen, Kane Hodder Director: Sean S. Again, no theatrical trailer, which is a shame, because I seem to remember this one having a somewhat amusing trailer.

The film begins in 1980 with Pamela Voorhees (Nana Visitor) attempting to murder her last female victim in a bid to avenge her son Jason (Derek Mears)'s death. Beyond Crystal Lake, Jason will find new ; Friday The 13th Part II DVD-It's five years later and a new group of teenaged camp counselors arrives on the scene and finds itself menaced by an unseen killer.

That being said, for those fans that passed on the glasses and movie a few years back may feel inclined to take a hard look at purchasing the box set. andanother thing the movies dont have special feature and the colour and style on disks are not same and a bit look like just they put some disks together to make a collection but still it is a great collection I think.

If you love horror, and you love the idea of a invincible serial killer wearing a hockey mask, you're in luck. The original film, created to cash in on the success of Halloween (1978), [1] was written by Victor Miller and was produced and directed by Sean S. K. fundamentally the same box set that was released in the USA this contains the first 8 movies, one from Warner and the other 7 from Universal/Paramount. The pacing is a bit off thanks to the extended opening but there are some creative kills and some decent suspense. Part VII: The New Blood is notable for fan favorite Kane Hodder’s first appearance as Jason, as well as for the decent gimmick of pitting a telekinetic, in yet another Carrie steal, against Jason.it isn't just the killings, randomly executed that sets this one apart, it is who was the one responsible! I don't necessarily agree but it's hard to argue that Part III is anything more than a carbon copy of the previous two films glossed up with some tricky camera moves. Part of the film's success is its villain's unique motivation to avenge the drowning death of her handicapped son Jason.

Of all the American horror icons of the 1980s, he was the only one who failed to appear in a good or even particularly interesting movie. I'm feeling charitable - and this series is both a lot of fun and kind of review proof - so I'm marking it down as a *** 1/2 out of *****. First disc contains the “uncut” version of the first film (I couldn’t tell the difference, but then, I’m not a Friday The 13 thenthusiast), including: a commentary with Director Sean S.Entertainment Magpie Limited t/a Music Magpie is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority FRN 775278. Unfortunately, both the acting and story take a step backward, and I never really cared about the plot Part V tries to advance. This is a moderately budgeted, highly entertaining film, and Feldman's Jarvis takes on Jason by shaving his head to look like the killer in his youth. No matter, as they were kind enough to port over the material from Paramount's deluxe edition DVD and give most of it an HD bump!
