Flashforge newly launched Adventurer 4 Lite 3D printer features a nine point auto calibration platform design, a larger build volume, and the slicing software FlashPrint for easy management of multiple 3D printers. The Flashforge Adventurer 4 is an affordable 3D printer with many features such as the automatic leveling of the flexible printing plate, the integrated camera, the filament sensor, and the quickly removable nozzle.
An extra build plate is included, which allows you to grab a finished build plate, swap in a clean one, and press print again. A CNC-machined floor frame is used as a leveling base, an 8 mm flat aluminium plate ensures the evenness of the printing platform and a difference in evenness of less than 0. The webcam captures pictures at a resolution of 640 x 480, which is acceptable for a thumbnail or a preview, but it’s underwhelming when compared to even a low-resolution front-facing webcam on a laptop or phone. The front door on the Adventurer 4 can be opened without pausing the print, so it’s possible to make minor adjustments to the model during printing if needed (removing strings, clipping fallen features, etc.
Because the Adventurer 4 is a fully enclosed unit -- even the big spool of filament is locked inside it's far larger than the comparable Anycubic Vyper, although the Adventurer 4's bed is smaller by 10mm on one side.
